How to Protect Matte Finish Cars 

Wax and conventional ceramic coatings fill in matte texture, altering the flat appearance and adding shine. At the same time, you NEED to protect matte paint to keep it easy to clean - otherwise, you could rub too hard to remove bonded grime and end up creating a shiny spot in the paint. This is where a ceramic coating designed SPECIFICALLY for matte finishes is necessary. In this video, our Chief Education Officer Mike Phillips shares his unique application method for applying a ceramic coating for matte to a 2022 Genesis GV80 in Brunswick Green satin paint. It's a simple install that can easily be done by anyone at home!
