i still use binders but i put them in a inner sleeve before putting them in the binder plus i stand them up like books so hopefully that helps prevents them getting squashed
Interesting, but my only concern is that if the sleeve is facing down then the card could fall out of the sleeve and its corners could make contact with the top loader
Thanks for all the helpful info. Are you ever afraid of too much protection? Penny sleeve into a top loader followed by a team bag to seal it? I was just curious because it seems safe, but I'm afraid it may build condensation without any airflow to the card. I have my cards protected like this now should it be a problem?
I also sleeve all of my rookie cards. I have been collecting for a long time and sleeving rookies is a good idea because you never know how good they’ll be. Then I’ll use a top loader on the high prospect rookies (ex. Lamelo, Zion, etc.
Hey! I don’t know if y’all will see this but loved the video! Quick question though, what do you do with regular base cards? Like cards that are not worth protecting and have no value. For example like a base Eric Bledsoe, Taj Gibson, Dwight Howard, etc.
Base cards, personally I just keep them in a penny sleeve and in a. box. Sometimes if I know its like a 5th year card or later of a weaker player i wont even sleeve. I recommend at least a penny sleeve for quality players. - Mitch
