Hey guys! Here's how I prune and propagate Angel Wing Begonia. Enjoy watching and don't forget to hit the LIKE button and please subscribe! =) Happy planting! xo, Jacqui
OH my goodness! I also use a pot without drainage holes and put pebbles in the bottom, many self proclaimed plant peeps say this is wrong! I'm so happy to see someone out here doing this as well! I know many house plants wouldn't like this, but my begonia is thriving like this. My begonia has also been propagated for probably 30 years! The mother plant dried out just this year (the owner was in a different country for a long time), but the plant is older than me and it has many babies now. MAYBE THEY'LL outlive me hahaha! I hope ppl commenting here that they want one can find someone to propagate a slice for one.
Wow your begonia rooted super fast. Keep up the good work. I love begonias because of its looks. I own two cuttings right now, and I can't wait for them both to grow into full plants. (if they even survive).
I have my plastic pot with drainage holes sitting a larger decorative pot. I find mine to be very thirsty same as my other varieties. Easily consuming up to 250ml per day each. Sitting in bright but filtered light. The flowers are light and sweet looking I just love them. My first propogation sitting in the window sill in water even managed to grow a flower as well as leaves and is doing well now it it's new home. I just adore this variety.
I bought a rooted cutting online and I potted it right away but as soon as I potted it I noticed it started drooping down. I'm nervous if it won't survive because its very droopy still. I'm not sure what to do. Can you give me some advice?
My begonia lost a nice leaf, and I’m sad because it was a young one! Can I propagate with the leaf alone or is it going to not grow? If it isn’t going to grow a plant I guess I should put the leaf in between a book to dry it out huh?
Every time I try to water prop these guys they rot in the water, what am I doing wrong?? Yes I change the water and do everything like I do for my other plant props, help!
@@MissJacquiT it got rooted 2 of the cutting n waiting for the 3rd one to rot :) it took over a month but m happy... im just afraid of transferring them to soil... may in 2 weeks roots will be long enough but still worried to not kill them
