Actually helpful video. Heybikes instructions for installation of the front wheel is basically "install fron wheel. The wheel will be peoperly tight when it is centre" Thanks. So helpful with the fisc brakes
Hi, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, without seeing the bike it's hard to know exactly what the issue might be. Have you tried repeating the process without success? If the problem persists, the best solution would be to contact the bike shop where you got it and have them take a look to figure out what's wrong. Let me know if you managed tosolve this.
I bought a used bike, got it home and the front wheel doesn't seem to fit between the forks. I can't it to drop in the openings as yours did. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Ken, thanks for your question. You're not doing anything wrong. All the front wheel hubs are usually 100mm in width. It might be that the fork is bent, this sometimes happens when the bikes are being shipped in the boxes and the legs get crushed making the opening narrower. Also make sure that you undo the fastening nuts. I hope this helps,
@@cyclemaintenanceacademyI need to install front wheel on shwinn electric bike with disc brakes. The wheel , fork and disc braces are all out of place. I can't insert the wheel as fork seems to be misaligned. There is almost 1 cm gap between the disc brake and the disk what should i do.
