Hi Nisha my mum is in the middle of a course of chemotherapy and has started to loose her hair, she is going to start wearing a wig any day now. One thing she was really worried about was her wig blowing off. Nobody mentioned a wig grip, it will be a life saver for her. Thank you.x

My mom used to wear wigs all the time, but she didn't wear really good ones like they have now and her hair did fall out, however I think it was a problem before she started wearing them and now they are so great, I don't think it would cause your hair to fall out. She always told me it was because of the wigs but I don't think it was so much.

Hello Nisha, I'm a new subscriber. I love to watch your videos. You are so inspiring to me. I watch you and a good friend of yours you met from You Tube. I had a heart transplant in 2013 and remained weak and sick. My heart was doing great and going strong. Finally a year later they found I had sarcoidosis ( the disease Bernie Mac passed away from) To shorten the story, I'm just now getting out of bed since about a year prior to my transplant. I lost a lot of hair due to the stress my body was under and the very strong immunosuppressive medications. I freaked out and bought at least 15 wigs. I have the velcro bands, stocking hats, extra clips. I just haven't built the confidence up to wear one. I feel like everyone will know. My hair has grown back and is very long now but I'd love to wear my wigs. They are beautiful. I have since been going through my makeup and cleaning it out and buying way to much new. I'm having fun and you are helping build my confidence back up again. Sincerely, Thank you! G

Bless your heart, I love hearing stories like yours with the happy ending. You went through so much to be alive today that I say who cares what others think of you if your wearing your wigs. Life is too short to worry about what others think. Just my thoughts and I will add you to my prayers Wishing you continued good health. My brother had a heart transplant 2 years ago, that's another reason I connected with your story. He is doing so good too Hugs to you brave lady

Hi Denise D! Thank you for adding me to your prayer list! Prayers work!! I will add you and your brother to my prayer list as well. I'm so happy he is doing well. You are right about me wearing my wigs and life being short. I was diagnosed when I was 32 after complaining for about 4+ years. I was told I had 5 to 10 years left. I also had a defibrillator put in a year after being diagnosed and having a sudden cardiac arrest at home and surviving it. Thanks to my Dad and BF keeping me alive until the FD arrived and shocked me. I went through 4 defibrillators through the years by wearing them out by receiving shocks. I just turned 51 on April 9th!! The doctors didn't know Gods plan for me! My son is now 25 and I adopted a baby girl as a single mom not long before I was told I needed a transplant She is now 7 and doing great. Give your brother my best and tell him it keeps getting better. Much love to you... G

Like the previous comment this information and demonstration would be invaluable to those ladies undergoing chemo therapy who choose to wear a wig. I have undergone that treatment and my wig was fitted by a professional wig person, but I was not shown any of these trick. I called my wig Alfred and it looked really good. But had I known any of this it would have looked amazing. Thank you again an amazing demo

I just found you a couple weeks ago and you are a DOLL!! You are so right, what you don't do for us!! Well, let me be one to say....THANK YOU FOR GOING ALL OUT FOR US!!! I tried my hardest to find that 1st wig you had on in this clip! But they don't have it in my color. You can tell, my hair is not highlighted, it's just straight up PLATINUM. I keep trying though. I wear a wig grip and no cap. It’s much cooler than a cap and that wig grip doesn’t move! Most of them have a label on it and the label goes right side up, on the right side of your head. I love them! If it’s super windy and I will be outside, I stick about 3-4 Bobby pins here and there, just as an added safety measure! The wigs do not move and neither does the wig grip.

Those are great tips. I've seen other videos and the other people sometimes go into great detail to make camouflage. they never show their natural hair color so we don't know if maybe that's the reason. But I like your videos the best.

So cool, at last! I met a lady in the line at the grocery store with cool hair & she told me it was a wig and said to avoid the caps bc they make yr head really hot & yr scalp sweats - yes, no? It seems like the band is a better idea, do they sell those at the little wig shops or must you buy them online? Hi Nisha, I have very thinning hair around the top of my hair at the hairline. I have been wearing Raquel Welsh topper, Top Billing for about 2-3 yrs EVERYDAY! I have purchased 4 of them. I love it and even my hairdresser thought it was human hair. I want to go with a full wig for spring and really want to try Editors Choice. QUESTION: Will my head get hot? I'm menopausal so am very sensitive to the heat. Any suggestions before I make the big investment?

Hi Nisha! I see that you have "average" wigs, even tho your head size is the same as mine , and I take a petite. So by waring a wig grip, I assume that the wig fits and doesn't slide? let me know, please!!

Hi :-) Thank you for your videos. I have benefited from watching your videos a lot. I have been a wig wearer for quite awhile now. I wear a wig band or grip. Some people like the wig socks which is fine. My hair is almost as short as yours but balding in spots on top of my head, which is why I wear wigs. What is the name of the second wig on this video. Thanks.. I just started wearing a wig a couple of weeks ago.. After wearing it for 3 or 4 hrs my scalp gets sore and when I remove the wig for a while after my scalp is tender. I do have hair which is very very thin but just wondering if you have any soreness after wearing your wig for a while.

I get bleach highlights and lowlights which are a mix of L'oreal Majirel no 6 and no 6.3 and the ratio is - 3 rows of bleach and 1 of lowlights xoxoNisha
