how to put together a chinese scooter's 49cc gy6 kick start assembly

Finally somebody with a brain in their head without 20 minutes of nonsense. I did not see the retainer clip on the shaft… Was trying to get this apart, you save me from beating the shaft to death. Thanks again man

Hele mooier video het enigste wat je echt moet doen is het kickrondsel dat puntje wat in het carter gaat goed dik invetten met lager vet en ook onder het halvemaan dat is voor dat alles mooi goed terug schiet en voor slijtage natuurlijk altijd doen en om de zoveel km even opnieuw reinigen en opnieuw smeren dat is om verstopping en vastlopen van de kick te verkomen en t netjes gesmeerd te houden zodat je onderweg niet voor verassingen komt te staan

Since he Did Not say it... I will. It Is Very important that you push down on the half gear Before you drop the small pinion gear into place. There is a weld bead at the third tooth. You MUST make sure the pinion gear is Past the weld when it droops into place!! Otherwise the kickstart will bind and not go down. Bikky No Startyy.!!!!!!! Good Luck

just add some grease/lubricant before you put it together, otherwise the spring wont retract the half sprocket and the kick lever will remain in the down position

Wow glad for the video.first watched some of your vids about 5yrs ago your a very content sounding guy.I would like to know where you got the half gearbox rather then the hole one that would go over clutch on back tire.your response would be greatly appreciated.an as well informative helping me in my search And it would help to know your out there and pushing on. I’m trying to change my drive belt on a Taotao Thunder and cant remove the front of the drive belt casing where the kick start pokes out so I can change the belt.I took all the bolts out but can’t slide it off.Do I have to disassemble the work that you just showed to get it off?

How do i keep the big spring in place when turning the gear

They make it look so easy, MEANWHILE MY FREAKING SPRING KEPT POPPING OFF EVERY FREAKING TIME I TRY TO HAMMER IT IN!!!😡

Ive been really strougling to get the spring to not fold in between the gear and the case anybody have any solutions or tips?

Is there something that holds that 3rd piece in when i move kick start it moves up i dont have scooter here so cant look all i have is the casing

Yeah, I been to the taotao website, "Not available to IP addresses in MY region??? That's why Japan is Asia's Canada, and China will remain Asia's biggest armpit... Hope that pisses a few Red's off... Just remember, yall started it, restricting OEM specs for Americans...

I have a question! I took the crankcover off to replace the kickstart on a geely 50cc... I have it put back together but it won’t grab the other gear to start the moped. I took it all back off all looks fine but it wont grab. Any thoughts?

Is it the same as ASA 50qt-9 model (kina scooter) as well? =)

My w is better . install the spring into cover , engage spring to large gear ,flip cover over install spacer and clip, flip cover over ,grab end of spring with needle nose pliers , attach to tall boss where its supposed to be, install ratchet twasher , install ratchett .

You skipping the kick start arm and what size bolt holds it on really screws me and without that information. I am stuck and can't go forward!
