Yes, but it's better not waste gas to charge the hybrid (traction) battery, since the best way to charge it is to drive the car and let the regenerative braking do it's magic. Service mode is mainly activated to run the engine constantly for diagnostics or to run the fresh oil through the filter to check the level and leak.

I don't recommend that for two reasons, it's just a waste of gas, and you may accidentally drive the car on service mode. When coming from a long vacation, all you need is just start the car the normal way and the car computer will trigger the cold engine and it's going to warm up very fast.

@@chiefdp213 i leave my cars sitting outside for months at a time and i don't do anything special besides touchless washing from time to time and charging the lead acid battery with a special charger that keeps it topped off. running the car 10 minutes is worse than useless and introduces moisture to your catalyst, exhaust, and interior engine parts.

For the transmission fluid, NO. Because in this specific model shown in this video the transmission fluid is not used as a hydraulic oil, it is only used for lubrication. So it is just drain and refill and you're good to go. For the Engine and inverter coolant, YES. After refilling both, start the car in maintenance mode while having the special coolant funnel over filled, and top off the inverter reservoir and then go and floor the gas paddle for a couple of minutes to burp out the air pockets.
