How to] Px6 change Vehicle HomePage image 

Yooooo thanks for watching.... So is it just dissapearing after you open camera monitor or does the camera monitor screens stay up but just go dark after 5 minutes??... Very important..

If it is just dissapearing then go to settings make sure its shows general scroll down to install set type in password 666888 unless you changed it... You will see a setting at the top second from the top that shows switch to front camera when switching to forward gear make sure that is set to off.. And you should be all set make sure you let me know if this worked..

Its funny you asked this question because i was thinking about doing a video on this but thought that I was the only one who experienced this issue... I searched forever about a month ago and couldnt find anything.. I litteraly went through every setting inside install set before I was able to figure this out...

@@DRSKINGDAVID i get the black box, when I hit the front camera button I do get the picture from it but then it goes back to the black box. I can hit the reverse camera button and it does the same thing. I'll definitely check out what you said though! Appreciate your help man!

@@craigmartin2999 Ok try the method I suggested and se what happens.. I know exactly what your talking about because I was having the same issue, and I can 100% confirm that its a setting inside of install sett that fixes this issue.. I don't have my vehicle right now to go through the settings because its in the shop should have it back this Thursday then I can help you better but I do know that there's two ways that this can happen one where it opens shows the camera front or rear stays open for 5 seconds then will dissapear camera box and all.. Then theres the issue your having where the box will stay open but the camera would only show for about 5 seconds then go blank.. Try the setting i suggested if its on set it to off make sure if the camera view is allready open after changing this setting to close it and then reopen it for the changes to take affect.. If this is not the problem i will get back to you this thursday because I will then have my vehicle and the ability to do testing be sure to let me know if this works or not though..

@@trammelbonner5254 Yes you can, phoenix sells a tuner box that connects to the radio and allows for that, and for the dash cam I use a android rearview mirror that records audio and video and does all types of other unnecessary stuff being that I only use it for recording I could've just got a regular dash cam recorder... right now Im still in the recovering stages from Covid ad new monia so I won't be doing videos until I'm better but ill have something to that effect coming, keep the ideas flowing and I'll make it happen..

Whats up man thanks for watching dont forget to like and subscribe.. You will go into settings scroll down to boot logo and select the image you want it will say you can only use 768×1024.. but I kall bullshit since my image is 1920x1080. Hope this helps

@@AlexRamirez-gf5bh I just checked you will click on settings, the androids launcher settings at the top where it says general and more settings make sure your on general.. then on the left hand side where it shows dimmer user settings system info reset install set radio region touch key then boot logo, it should be all the way at the bottom last option..

Hello I haven't been able to figure out how to get the nav cluster back yet still working on that, and yes the controls stay at the bottom for now.. there suppose to be releasing a update that allows you to turn them on and of though

@@DRSKINGDAVID ok thanks, I have the 13 in android 10 I can't get those controls to pop up...can you give me some info on that...also on installation I have 2 purple 1 black, 1 tan ,1 blue connector, which color is to the antenna and which is the factory gps??

The review here is for a 12 inch.. didn't know they had a 13 inch.. The blue is normaly for the gps, and since you have a different radio you may want to go over the instructions to make sure everything is being connected correctly because im not 100% sure they would use the same color methods for connections.. its possible but I definitely don't want to be at fault for giving out incorrect information especially if you have a totally different radio..

Then there is an option to be able to control or view all of them in 360 camera.. not by my car right now so I will tell you wen I'm sure

@@DRSKINGDAVID Got it hooked up right. There is an option for it to come on when you go into drive, I have it checked and the 360 camera also still have to do the same thing you do. Let me know if you figure out away to make it come on when you go into drive.

@@stephenharris9892 There is a trigger wire on the radio that triggers the camera when you go either reverse or forward, cant remember the color right now but I beleive its brown this tells the camera to come on when in either of those motions.... I had mine hooked up but I decided to disconnect it because I find it better to look at the front when I want to vs having it always on when going forward

Can you turn the unit volume up or down using the volume keys on the radio?.. I need you to be a little more specific in order for me to be able to help..

Yes all options are available based on your vehicle if your vehicle is equipped with this option .. before you order this radio they will ask for a picture of your dashboard and several other questions this is to make sure you get the right canbus for your specific vehicle.. this in turn allows for all equipped features on your vehicle to work properly..

I don't use IOS at all....in fact I had to go into settings and stop it from automatically connecting everytime I connected a cable to it. But make sure your using the cable that came with your phone on of the same quality or I promise you that you will have a horrible time with it..

What's up man, so the radio just changes screens in the middle of watching videos / radio.... This is the first I have heard of this... When it changes what screen does it change to? Does it happen often Also is there any notification that appears on the screen when this happens? My guess would be some of the words that are being pronounced from the videos or music that your listening too may being picked up by the radio as commands which means the sensitivity level of txz speech is to high or even ok google.... Check for any notification feedback at the bottom of the screen when this happens and get back to me...

Yea....that shouldn't have caused that thouh.. there is a reset button down in the left hand corner of the radio.. you will need a very small pin or something.. stick it in there and hold it for about 10 to 15 seconds... your time and everything will reset but it will go back to normal on its own..

The boot logo is any image you like download from anywhere.. Thats if I'm understanding your question correctly

@@p0ppa-dee ill have to look at mine when I go outside i forgot exactly how to do that one right of the top of my head but I do know its easier than the other one because although it says it has to be a certain size it dosent and you can just select that from a image you add to your radio not a file like the other one

@@p0ppa-dee So I just made it outside to check.... What you want to do is go to settings then all the way down to where it says boot logo.. It will say select image and above that it will say the image size that you will need although the image size dose not matter select the image you want to set and just like that your done.. You will have to download Netflix from your browser, because as of right now its not supported in the play store for this radio.. but I have Netflix on my radio that I downloaded from my browser and it works fine.
