Hey mate, so how many turns did you give on each side, how many turns would be the maximum amount do you think?

Hello, I have a Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2.5 GLS from 2003. Would this same spring model work? I write from Spain

Hello, thank you for your question. Yes I believe it should work for all of the Shogun, Paj, challenger and Montero models on the K90 and K96 chassis. I hope this helps Hola from the United Kingdom 👋🏻

Hi, thinking about to put same set of springs in my Jero Sport. After few months of driving would you still recommend? How ist the ride overal? Thanks for reply.

@wolf_kiff_workshop Месяц назад
Hi, yes it's been over 12 months but I would still recommend them. It's perfect for my type of driving. I do mainly on road driving with light off road and green laning. The springs are stiffer so on road mine doesn't wallow or roll on the turns as much which I find better. But it lifted it 2.5-3 inches which means when I am off road it doesn't catch or drag the tow bat or chassis like before. Also because they are 20% uprated / stiffer I recently had over half a tonne load in the back and it handled it well. And since this video I have towed a caravan and multiple trailers of different wieght which it has handled well to.

If you do mainly or solely off roading then it would probably be worth spending the extra for fully progressive off road springs like "old man emu" ones

I also fitted the K74 L200 shock absorbers. The fronts are the same but the rears give you an extra 4-6 inches travel on the rear axle. I found mine bottomed out on the rear when off road

Can u show an image of the front bump stops? Is the ride quality better? Or is it rough.. how does it handle bumps? Better or worse? I would like to lift my sport, but am afraid of ruining the ride quality..
@wolf_kiff_workshop
@wolf_kiff_workshop Год назад
Hi, I will get a picture for you next time I am not working 😁 I haven't adjusted the bump stops yet. But apparently you can cut them down for more clearance. I have found my ride is definately stiffer which I prefer because mine had body roll like a canal barge before. So I would say better handling on the road and more ground clearance off road.
@wolf_kiff_workshop
@wolf_kiff_workshop Год назад
It is better for me because I do more road miles than off road. But if you do more off road than on road apparently progressive springs are better but come with around a £450 price tag

@@wolf_kiff_workshop What progressive springs you are talking about? You mean, progressive torsion bars, like EFS or Ironman? We're talking about front suspension, right? Thanks
@wolf_kiff_workshop
@wolf_kiff_workshop Год назад
@An Engineer I was thinking progressive springs on the back like the old man emu ones but they are around £400+ here. The progressive torsion bars sound like a perfect match for the front to me.

It says they are for the diesel standard Shogun but they do fit. And because they are for the other shogun they lift the Sport 👍🏻

you have to adjust the camber or your tyres will wear

I have seen some people doing a ball joint flip? Apparently to adjust the camber. Have you done that at all? Do you have any advise incase mine does start wearing funny?
