Hey everyone, thank you for all the love on this video! I’m responding to you all slowly but surely. ‼️Make sure you like, subscribe, & hit the bell so that you’re notified when more informative videos drop‼️
You looked out on the Word Knowledge portion! Went from a 97 GT to a 120! You earned my support and subscribe. This vid will serve as a gospel for those who want to pass 🙏🙌
With hard work and dedication you can do it. In a months time after my BSEP class I went from a GT 96 to a GT 118 and all my other line scores raised as well. It is definitely possible.
I don’t know you, but I rewatched this so many times and I went from a 109 GT to a 124 GT! Thanks for your advice, now I’m waiting for the OCS board in June 😎
I took the AFCt right after the BSEP course, and scored a 121 GT course. Thank you so much for making this video. The BSEP 192 quizlet flashcards were a big help because all of the words showed up on my test. Trust the process.
I just took the AFQT today and NOT a single word from the BSEP/ AFQT quizlets were on there. So make sure you do study prefixes and suffixes and meanings of words. On the arithmetic reasoning, my test was primarily fractions, areas, circumferences, and some percentages. I started studying two months ago just an hour a day, and then the two weeks leading up to the test I was studying 4-5 hours a day after work. Paragraph comprehension is what it is. Just read and practice. I personally used the Avab app and asvab for dummies book. Stayed calm, took the test, and got up 21 points!!
Thank you so much, I went from a 103 to 121 this morning. Had every word on the test. You don’t understand how much I studied over the past 4 weeks and how many times I watched this video. ❤️
Congrats! I got a 106 GT score and didn’t qualify for officer. My recruiter told me I can’t retest but I’m getting conflicting information? So you are able to retest for a higher GT score ?
@@hectorrojas9023 I got 102 yesterday... I need 110 for officer too. I'm going to re test next month. I heard people taking about you can't retest either. I'm not sure everyone is different. Was it your first test?
@@TN-cr8cu I was able to retest! My recruiter lied to me so I had to go to another recruiter office. It was my first test, retested a few months ago and got a 110! Studying grammar hero (all subjects) on RU-vid helped me more than any Asvab book.
@@hectorrojas9023 I'm glad you found out and got to re test again! Congratulations on making a 110! I just found out grandma hero and I'm about to go through his videos. I scored 66 on math but only 34 in WK. I don't know how much I can improve my vocabulary in one month but I will give another shot!
I wish I had your video years ago!!!!. I finally decided to retake my asvab because I had a 108 GT score and my overall was a 61. My weakest area was Work Knowledge and could not find a tactful study plan till I learned about the bsep 192 advice you gave. I was able to bring up my GT to a 129 and overall score to a 96. I can't begin to say how grateful I am to your video and tips!
This woman is amazing I’m so glad I found this video! I’ve Also surprisingly she still responds to comments today even after this video being posted 3 years ago 😮
Girl. I just went to say thank you so much for your video. Your tips, along with Grammar Hero here on RU-vid, helped me go from a 106 to 121. The word knowledge, like you said, literally ALL of words on my test were in my note cards. Thank you sooo much again!
Thank you for this video post, I retook the AFCT yesterday morning and I can confirm that all Work Knowledge words come from BSEP 192 list. I memorized all of the words/synonyms and performed exceptionally well. By the time it came to the Work Knowledge Sub-Test I knew every single world instantly, just blazed trough that portion. I'm glad I found this video and it will help anyone seeking to raise their GT score. Made some flashcards and started studying. Achieved what I set to achieve
It’s very rare that I comment on anything; but I had to comment here!! Thank you for making this video! Your tip about the words really helped me out! I did exactly as you suggested just a few days before taking the AFCT and those words were on there! Finished the word knowledge portion in about 6 mins! The math antics guy was amazing!! Thank you again! I wish you all the best for your career goals!!
Took AFQT test yesterday and all the vocabulary were on quizlet. I didn’t think it would actually be true but fortunately I actually still studied them because what’s to lose and passed exam with a 112 gt😎
Type in BSEP 192 in the search bar of quizlet and study those words. I used the app on my iPhone and studied that way. Just do free trial you don’t have to pay for anything.
This was for the AFQT, which is the test for people already in the military and the one I took. IDK if these words are used for the ASVAB which is for initial entry. I would still add them to your vocabulary just to be safe as it can’t hurt.
@@NAS472 yes I would only study AR, PC, & WK. I hate to say it this way but the other subjects don’t matter. Only if your entering a specific field they would. Let’s put it like this if your GT score goes up your ASVAB score will go up. Your GT in my opinion is the most important.
Taking the asvab test soon and still have a week or so before I take it! Thank you for the vocab, had my own quizlets but I didn’t want to waste my time learning words that wouldn’t be on the test.
Luckeylu. I am giving all my thanks to each RU-vid videos I watched to give me encouragement during my BSEP studying process. I got my 110. Thanks for all the advice
Thank you for the help. My strong areas are the word knowledge and paragraph comprehension. My advice with the paragraph comprehension is to literally answer what they ask, don’t apply any outside knowledge. This helped me a lot. My plan is to get a 09s contract for officer candidate via enlistment
Ma’am, thank you for your inspiration. I am a civilian and I will use ALL of the pointers you’ve provided, even the life advice to not procrastinate. I plan to be a 153a in the guard and I need a GT110, among other things. I will update in the future what happened once I’m flying helos. THANK YOU for your wisdom.
Hi, I am a civilian, and English is not my first language. I took the ASVAB and got GT103. did those words help to sore GT110? did any of those words come up on your test? I would really appreciate any help you can provide.
@@luckeyloustb7687 I take the test in 1 week, are these words still going to be on the test this year in 2023?….I hope so because I been studying them and I’m doing really good :)
@@aliciacyriac1429 Dantes online academic skills course, which is free, literally has everything you need to study for on the ASVAB. I would usually do one module a night so I retain the info better. Plus carried flash cards on me to study for the word knowledge portion throughout the day.
taking ASVAB next month... English is my second language. WK is the hardest part. I took my first ASVAB 4 years ago... got 95 on GT. Now I graduated from college... studying this quizlet right now ! Thank you !
@@luckeyloustb7687 English is my second language and Word knowledge is the hardest part for me. Do you happen to know if those words that you gave will be on the ASVAB? the one that is for civilians.
I'm at Camp Arifjan I just took my TABE test.I did well enough to get recommended. I want to take fast class next month to raise my gt score. Three weeks night course. I was told to focus on reading, applied mathematics , vocabulary. I want to put in a warrant packet. Thanks your video is very helpful 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿.
Scored 102 on my GT, I have decided to take it again since my month for retesting will be ready on June 10th. I am going to follow what you said and report back. Going for 110+
Took the AFCT right after the BSEP course and can verify that these words will show on the test. Learn the words and their synonyms shown and you’ll do great. GT went from a 103 to 120
I want to get into mechanics for the marines, I took the picat in highschool last year and got a 40 but my recruiter never let me take the confirmation test so I had to wait while at the time I was super behind in school trying to catch up so I can graduate, I’ve bought 3 ASVAB books and they’re okay, hopefully nelnet will help, math was easy for me but I struggled with English, thank you for your service
Greetings from Germany! Im looking forward to becoming a warrant officer. I just took the AFCT earlier today and I went from 103 to 100 GT. None of the words from BSEP 192 were on the test and I was upset. I did great in the AR and PC but the WK I did horrible.
Not understanding why they weren’t on there when I have had ppl recently let me know in the comments they were. Sorry your score went down. However prayers that you still reach your goal and become a chief and I’ll salute 🫡 you.
Keep going. Take your time when studying and take breaks. Know the area you struggle with the most and put the most effort there. Flash cards for the vocabulary helped me
Hey great video ! Super helpful. I was wondering if you could provide a link for me for the bsep words? I want to make sure im studying the correct ones.
@@JoelFlores-pn2md I'm on Fort Lewis, you have to go to your local education center on base i tested out on the 23rd. It's a month class and I did raised my GT score 34 points from 86 to 120. I'm pursuing a flight packet
Brandon McGinnis thanks a bunch. Unfortunately fort dix isn’t offering any at this time. They been saying they were going to for over a year. I don’t mind traveling and taking the class, I just need to figure it out now.
@@JoelFlores-pn2md whenever you can try to schedule your tape test it's basically a placement test so they can see where you're at with math, reading and paragraph Comprehension. Trust me when those classes start back up theyll be packet and have a waiting list. Here Fort Lewis you're looking at about a month or two before getting into a class
Thanks you so much this help me a lot!!❤️ I have a quick question for you guys does the word knowledge-Quizlet BSEP 192 update until 2024? Or it’s just for 2019
@@luckeyloustb7687 i'll think about it haha i studied for the asvab before but i was defeated horribly. i went from a 10, 19, 21, then i took the picat and i went to a 11. after that i havent been studying. you think i can get to 31 in just 10 days?
Hey Luckey! Thank you so much for providing this information it has been helpful. I retake the AFQT in a week and I’m extremely nervous. Math is definitely a struggle for me so I’m hoping these words can get me where I need to be.
How did it go man I’m fresh out of high school and about to go talk to a recruiter soon to try to get a option 40 contract but I’m worried about having to get a 105 gt score
Retook the test today sadly I only saw a few of the word on the WK, but most of them were really simple but I get my test results back in a week or 2. Hopefully I get that 105 I can’t afford to wait 6 more months.
Thanks for the advice. I have to take the test to raise my GT score for a job I want. I will be taking it soon. Question was the test the same as the ASVAB or a shorter version?
There are many versions of BESP 192 online. One is called BSEP 192 Fort Jackson Flashcard Quizlet, and another is called Word Flashcards Quizlet. I wonder which one is the one you mentioned in the video?
The one I mentioned in this video is no longer up. However all the ones I’ve seen still up there has all the same words I studied. So I’m go out on a limb and say that anyone that you find will work to study from.
Thank you for this video! I just sworn in yesterday an going to fort benning for bct I really want to raise my scores badly!! Will I forsure have a chance to re test? Or will I have to wait till I re enlist? I got a 100 gt score an I need at least a 105 foot ranger school an that’s something I really want to do
No you should be able to retest in at least 6 months or maybe a year depending on if your active, guard, or reserve. But either way just wait til you get with your unit and ask them about retaking it.
Hello took the practice text I failed wk because of my language barrier so my question is some words definition have 11 different ways of choosing is it going exactly that way or just going to be a one word definition?
@LuckeyLou STB Thank you so much for the video it has helped me a lot. I take my test on 13 Jan 2022. I do have a question though I’m not sure if you would know, do you know if the words change by the year on which the asvab is assigned??
Is the AFQT test the same everywhere? Or is it a different version test in a deployed environment, need to raise my gt score to re enlist. Currently in Saudi Arabia and they don’t have FAST CLASS program.
Hello. I just recently watched your video about the BSEP quizlet. I’m currently a civilian and I just got BA. I want to go officer route. Do the ppl that took the BSEP course take the asvab? Do you also think those BSEP 192 key terms will most likely be on the asvab? I am worried on scoring a GT of 110. You got any encouragement, advice, take on this? I’m asking this cus the video is about 3 years and a lot could’ve change. Thank you and have a great day!!!
Those words are still on the test. The test doesn’t change up much at all. The military likes to keep paperwork stuff simple. Only thing in the military that’s changes a lot are regulations lol. So you will be good studying these words. Good luck on your journey to become an officer. Salute 🫡
And one last thing. Sry for asking too much but may I ask, how many words you would study a day? Cus Ik it’s impossible to study all 192 in one day😂. I currently know 40 so far but I do forget some here and there but so far 40
@@ItzzBreezy17 I broke it down to 3 piles after I created my note cards. Words I knew without a doubt, words I got close to being right, and ones I just didn’t know. I was on a deployment so for me I had plenty of time to just focus. So I would go through all the words per day in 30min time spends. So while during laundry I would study. Before I got to watch tv I would go through them. So I studied at least 2 hrs per day.
:( I wish the words are on my test... I got 66 for AR but 34 for WK. I'm really lost on what word I should remember now. Wish I can take besp class lol
@@luckeyloustb7687 I studied all of them too. I think there might be different version. A girl commented three months ago got everything on the test. But still thank you !
hello. im currently studying the bsep 192 and i got 5 more days till i take the asvab. You think i can learn all these words in 5 days if i study them allday everyday? Ive gotten 50/192 done so far so hopefully i finish in time
If I’m already in the army, and want to get a higher gt score, do I have to retake the ASVAB? Or is there a certain test I can take just for my gt score?
Yeah you got to retake it. If you in NC you can go through Bragg and take the class. When you take the class it’s training you only on the parts that effect the gt score.
Yeah I used the index card method. So I could separate the ones I knew without a doubt, the ones I struggled with but knew, and then the ones I didn’t know at all.
I took it on an army base overseas. Also it’s been 3 years since this video. Things might have changed. However there is 192 and only 16 of them would be on the test. Also many other ppl have commented that they were that’s have taken the retake recently. So I don’t really know what to tell you. Hope you still did good or get a better score next time.
@@luckeyloustb7687 I just got back and I got 60 AFQT with 109 GT score so I would say just in case if you have the same problem like I did make sure you study synonyms lot so you can get the feeling because I study vocab test com and little bit pre fix and suffix
Are these words still relevant? Out of the 192 words , 16 of them will show up? Ived been taking Word Knowledge practice test I randomly find online but those practice test have different words and only a few from the Quizlet Bsep 192 list.
Yes the words are still relevant. Yes only 16 will be on the test but also the words help you a little with paragraph comprehension because your learning the meaning
@@nestor114 I don’t know. But everyone that I know that have taken the test recently is saying the words are on there. Whenever I get time I’ll check with one of my recruiter friends to see if I can see the test.
I don’t know for sure if you would. But I would study math then. The guy channel I mentioned showed help also you could get a test book for practice. Or google free practice test. If you have a good recruiter they should be able to help you get materials to study for math.
I got a 106 GT score and didn’t qualify for OCS. My recruiter told me I can’t retest but I’m getting conflicting information? So you are able to retest for a higher GT score ?
Yes I was but I believe it’s like 6 months before you can retest. However if that’s your test to first get you in. Your recruiter might be saying you can’t right now in fear if you do worse you’ll lose that score. If anything wait until after basic if you haven’t been then try to retest
In AIT right now, got pissed when I found out I got a 109 and you need a 110 for warrant. So is it possible to get a lower score and screw myself over or can you only improve?
I wouldn’t worry about it, because you already have your MOS locked in so nothing to lose. Not to mention every 6months you can take it. Also look at your lines and see your week spots to study, the vocabulary is easy if you follow her advice using quizlet, all words are on there.
My GT score is at 90 and I wanna get it to 110 at least. But I’m scared to retake it and get a even lower score to where I get disqualified from my MOS or something
@@luckeyloustb7687 all of them I guess cuz when I took the GT predictor test my score was 70 something. It was so bad they were like idk how you got a 90 before but we recommend you to not take the test again
@@noel1512 go to ASVAB-prep.com to practice as well make the flash cards to study the words. Quizlet app helps you there. I would take about two months or until I felt comfortable to retake it. Or ask your recruiter for some resources to help
Please help me out! I took the Picat test and got 99 on that. My recuiter told me I need at least 110 GT score to join as an officer. How the GT is calculated and which sections should I focus to raise my score to 115 GT.
The three sections that make up the GT is word knowledge, math, and paragraph comprehension. If you watch the video I show where to get the words for the word knowledge part. As was as give a source to help you out with math if that is your struggle area. The paragraph comprehension section help was with website I listed but I see as of recently a lot of people are having trouble accessing that. If I was you ask your recruiter for a site that you can practice the test with. They should have an updated site you can use to get better.
Hey! Not sure if you respond now but wanted to say if the words from here are on the cat asvab aka computer asvab, like I'm not in the military yet and i got 17 last time in my score sadly because of wk and I felt depressed and a feeling like a failure, but thanks if you respond
You’re not a failure. And yes the words should be. Just do the note card method I speak on and practice for at least two weeks and you will see a difference. Don’t let depression win fight back by studying and staying in the fight. You got this keep practicing.
@@luckeyloustb7687 thank you! I will not let depression ruin my dreams and I'm kn shocked this video is years and you responded 😅 thank you so much again!
Hey, for anyone whos watching this video. Im an E5 in the USMC and my mos is (0311) . I took the asvab in 2017 as a junior in HS and got a 52 with a GT 95. I took it recently and scored a perfect score of 99. You can do anything you put your mind to. With that being said, this advice is legit. BSEP 192 is literally a cheat code. All words are on the words on the test. Additional Advice for math- use dantes/petersons oasc. Use kaplan, and take practice tests through grammar hero Additional advice for paragraph comprehension- Read, read, read. OASC is helpful, but reading everyday and asking yourself what you read about is even more beneficial. Also, kaplan has legit strategies that are extremely useful. Take practice tests online as well. Understand the different types of questions, and how to approach them (refer to kaplan method). Practice tests and being honest with yourself are key. Your task should be to find the questions and areas of the test you struggle in and make those your strengths. I hope this helps anyone who reads this. Good luck everyone.
