Here is my wishlist if you care to go that direction www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls... This shows how to understand the ''bubble'' in a level.
This shows, that the bubble will always go to the "high side"... Therefore, the side the bubble is on, is your high side... If, you want to level something, you have to lower the "high side" or raise the ''low side"... It is that simple.

I clicked thinking this was going to show me something I didn’t already know. But the fact you said you had to teach other tradesmen really shows where the industry is heading. 🤦🏻‍♂️

LOL when you said the contractor and the building instructor both failed to interpret the level correctly, I assumed there was some sort of sacred knowledge that was picked up through decades of careful observation, which required such a high level of expertise, not even a certified building inspector is familiar, let alone a mere layman. I intently listened, seeking to learn this once but no longer forbidden knowledge 😱 "Bubble go left, left side high spot" 😂 dude that must've been quite jarring, relying on the building inspector to quell this ridiculous debate, only for the building inspector to validate the other guy!! Unbelievable 😂😂

@rbnhd1976 2 года назад
@@edgaro67 I think those rings show one quarter inch per foot rise, something like that, so lift one end till the bubble touches that line, for pipes/plumbing etc to flow liquid
