Hello when you set out your beads it looks like a smile, thank you for sharing this information, it does make it easier to read and understand. Greeting from Cali .
I just found your video , i'm very new at beading , this is the BEST VIDEO I have ever seen on how to read a chart Thank you so very much , From : Brenda
Hi, great video, very helpful. PLEASE can you do a pattern tutorial for loom beading tapestries? I don't know why the pattern tells to bead from the LEFT...help!
I have a huge peyote chart to work, over a hundred beads to start. However, I'd prefer to whip up a bead start strip and hook onto that (temporarily). Should I make up my own row 1 and row 2 list of colors on a piece of scratch paper since I can't follow the start chart of 1,2? The chart is 9" x 6" but worth the start challenge. Thx.
Hi, Shae How do you start a pattern if the word chart does not combine row 1 and two like you have on your word chart? It just has it listed as row 1 row 2 and so on. All the rows are individual instead of row 1 & 2 combined. Thanks
Very good explanation, one more question which software program do you use to make the pattern and do you get then automatically the written version , thanks
Love using word charts and having the color chart as a side visual. Too easy to get off track with a color chart if you dont mark it or cover it as you go!,
Good morning I have tried and tried to start this pattern but because it starts with 2 then adds 2 I have a loose 1 in the 3 row I don’t know where it goes grrrrr I’m frustrated with starting I can do this but starting it is frustrating me can you help if I send you a picture of pattern? I looked for your email but couldn’t find it ty toni
Wonderful video. If I may make a suggestion. I use closed caption, and it overlaps your bead weaving. Maybe have your camera centered more? Not trying to be critical here. Its just a suggestion. 😍👍 subscribed!
So when you put first row on and you add beads it's actually creating rows 1-2 adding three by skipping n row 4 is next am I correct I've had a hard time doing patterns I quit but they are so pretty I want to be able to make them thank you
4evermykids1 picking up all the beads is rows 1 and 2, which are formed when you do the “pick one, skip one” of row 3. Rows 4 and beyond are when you use the “stickie outie” Beads.
@@lvfnnygrl No. It was from Fusion Beads and they are out of business, but it's not the first time I've seen it. The pattern also lists each row twice and indicates each color with a number instead of a letter. Here's what it looks like: Row 001 L->R (2)2, (3)1, (15)2, (3)1, (1,)2 Row 002 LR (2)2, (1)1, (7)2, (2)1 And it keeps going like that. God awful. I'm actually following the graph, which is harder and not my favorite. But figuring out that screwy pattern was beyond me. I was hoping to find someone who knew how to figure that out.
Please forgive me adding on to your (L) "Left" and (R) "Right" tip. If you still can't remember... "Did she say Left was going towards the stop bead or was it the other way round?" Try saying... (L) "Left" LEAVING the stop bead and (R) "Right" RETURNING to the stop bead.
