Hands down the best explanation I've seen on candlestick basics. A lot of the knowledge taught in this video is assumed knowledge by many people who teach trading. It's not. I loved the diagram at the start which showed exactly what the wicks, bodies, opening and closing points all were. Thanks so much for a fantastic video, the quality of animation also makes a MASSIVE difference. The animation is just as important as the knowledge itself.

How does the market open at a different price than it closed at the previous day? Shouldn’t all the open prices and close prices or the previous days be even ?

Momentum can be taken literally - it’s how quickly the price going upward or downward is increasing or decreasing. If the price change gets smaller and smaller, you’ll see smaller and smaller candles, which shows a loss of momentum

Awesome video, only thing I would change is offsetting the lines ontop of the candlesticks (8:03 for example) so that the candlesticks are still visible while explaining the trends.
I have a stock market project about competing with others about stocks, and I had little clue on how to actually identify what the candlesticks meant. Thank you, and hopefully me and my team are able to make good investments because of this. Also this helped me on identifying where I should put my actual money into markets, definetely the best for simplifying this with images to help think of what it would actually look like.
