Today I'm doing something a little different and offering up some advice on how you can read more. I hope something I said was helpful for you! Be my friend on Goodreads: / shelfofwonder Email: shelf.of.wonder@gmail.com
Those were some awesome tips. I loved the goal tip about increasing by 1 and going from there. I have one tip that has propelled me. If people have access to Audiobooks, then listening to those, or immersion reading with a physical book, can really speed up the reading. I find that audiobooks can relieve some of that brain space required. So you are still seeing the words and following along, but you don’t have to think the words (if that makes sense)
Oh, I can’t believe I forgot all about audiobooks! I don’t really utilise them that much so it completely skipped my mind 😅 Audiobooks are a great way to help focus on reading and let you do it while doing other things, which is so helpful for those with busy lives/shorter attention spans. Thank you for commenting about this, I’m sure it’s a tip many people will find helpful 😊
@@shelfofwonder i’m currently immersion reading Yellow Face and because of that, it is going by super fast. It’s handy that you can pick the right speed for your own pace as well with audiobooks. Personally I listen on 2x speed. Works wonders for me 😁
