Very interesting, could you do one video on recording a string quartet with the h4n and 2 input mics?

I think recording a slow piece and highly dynamic would be better , I have grade exam coming up i use phone to record but my phone cant tell the diffrent about mp and p 😅 Right now i was looking for zoom recorder but dont know will this device can fix my issue?

Which settings do you usually apply on stereo?

That's a good question. It will depend on the instrument and the dynamics of the piece that you are recording. Try to have your recording levels set so that the loudest part of your piece hits around -6db on your meters.

I didn't see the mic xor cables plugged into the H4n pro? correct if im wrong..

For this part of the project I used 2 separate Zoom H4n recorders. This made file management much more easy. In this case: H4nPro 1= Onboard mics, H4nPro 2= SDC mics only. I hope this helps.

I just want to add... TWO H4nPro recorders are NOT NEEDED in order to record your piano in this way. One will do just fine.
