This is great for anyone making music or who wants to make music and release them out to the world. There is no better feeling than recording music and putting it out there for everyone to listen to what we created. Great tutorial man!
Thanks! Its definitely one of the most satisfying feelings of accomplishment. I wanted to put out this video to help encourage others to put out their own music so such kind words from someone as driven as you means a lot!
For the first time, when I sat down with guitar, I tried to make some melodies, and riffs, I was surprised that my amp gave me the inspiration, there were a lot of unique ideas came to my mind, I told myself, I don't have to know tons of theories of music, chord shapes, etc to write music. I tried out somethings and sounded very nice, but I sure need to get them right with correct chords, and structures. I am only 3-4 years into guitar at 34 I still will give some time and learn more on playing than writing.... Maybe in couple of years, if I get more comfortable with guitar, and not in mood for a lot of researching the correct chords on what I played, what I can do is record them short takes, then leave it as they are, for future thing maybe....... Sorry for so long comment.
this has helped me alot! i always struggle to release some songs because i don't know if it will be liked. i think I'm going to release a few songs that i didn't know if people would like! thanks Z!
So glad this was helpful! The tough thing about releasing our creativity to the world is never knowing exactly how it will be received. We have to be brave!
Excellent video brother. Indeed, you have to start somewhere and start with what you have available. For my part, it took a very long time before making a first recording. It's a learning process and you have to be prepared to put in the time, which many people lack. Besides, many retirees become musician RU-vidrs, because they finally have time. The thing that has changed, in my mind, over time is that it is better to wait before releasing a song that we like more or less, with irritants to the ear. Why do I think like this now? It's because I realized that a song lasts a lifetime, and that it's best to wait until you're fully satisfied, because otherwise, you'll be living with the mistakes for life, unless you re-recording. On that note, excellent topic for discussion, thank you for sharing and I wish you a great day. A+!
Absolutely, it takes more time than a full tome job to do this. I hear what you're saying there. Putting music out there will immortalize it and that includes the mistakes. Definitely have to make sure you're not putting out sloppy work. For me the only way I can get better at things is if I keep doing them repeatedly. I've both scrapped songs that have dragged on in production and released a few things that weren't quite perfect, but it's a learning process! Really glad to hear your insightful comment. Cheers man
Oh nice we got the same audio interface hahhaha, anyway, this is such a good video that I am sure will help lots of musicians who wanna upload music to the platforms that you've mentioned!
