Yes, thats what I have been doing. But you need 2 phones to do that. You could also use a seperate voice recorder that you get online. Does someone know a voice recording app that keeps recording even when your in a phone call ? That would be the best solution.
Thanks for this, I always appreciate your common sense approach to your tech know how. I would add that if you have an iphone you probably also have an apple lap top. you can use the voice recorder app on the MacBook Pro at least to record the iphone conversation using speaker mode on the iphone
I'm sure you post lots of very useful info, but how many people have an old iPhone just lying around, access to a professional recording studio or a dictation device? not me.
Respectfully this is a dumb idea. Android has an app called Cube ARC. It auto starts and records all incoming messages. It does give one the ability to stop any recording. Why doesn’t apple have this app?

There’s a much easier way to do it. Just activate screen record on your phone or iPad and enable microphone, and click speaker as the source when you’re talking to the caller you want to record and it records a video from which you can extract the audio. No need for 2 phones.
Why not run the voice recorder app on the phone your calling from and put in on loud speaker so you can record both your voice and the voice of the person calling? simplez innit

my previous iphone/android seems it had an inbuilt recorder!??? I never did anything to install...or even go to settings...i found a call which had been recorded in recordings by accident!....so it was saving all my calls anyway!

I done this method before because there’s no one app free and free is only “lite” after lite u have to follow PRO /=💵!! I don’t know any developers who create an app for nothing only if any drunk Samaritan simply do mirroring with another recording device don’t need to be another iPhone 📱 and that’s it

Come on.. are you kidding us; 2 phones to make something stupid.. and useful :p I sold my lovely phone huawei p30 pro with one touch I had screen record , call rec, ready photo types such long exposure cars , stars, sea.. now with iPhone 13 for every use.. I must pay and no only once but some app requires the crazy thing to pay per week or month.. really? I m wondering how people buying iPhones..
Just write to NSO company, they will turn on this function via pegasus spyware. After you phone start recording all calls secretly. But you can find the recording somwhere on your phone secret folders... this is really pathetic. I pay for my phone but I cant use this function, but secretly a spyware program can do it... Thanks Apple!!!
