A quick tutorial on how to record the vocals for your song so you can add the music and beat later. Learn how to record vocals in time to a beat using the metronome, so you can add a beat and melody later.
Th8s is heloful because i keep doing music first and end up not leaving space for vocals. My ear fills the sound. i end upfilling it up with music by accident
Thanks for nice video:)but i have a problem..After recording with a metronome, I cannot delete the metronome sound from the composition I recorded..I hear a metronome sound in my composition. I can't delete it
@leventedizakgol3256 Always listen to the metronome through headphones when recording vocals, so the metronome is not picked up by the microphone. Closed back over ear headphones are best.
@@IbandUK thank you very much for your answer. I realized this too after asking you. The microphone hears the metronome sound coming from the headphones. I solve the problem.....I dont use the programs metronome i use different one ...i put one of my ear airpod and i cover my ear with my hand ;)))
Terrence Johnson Hi, use headphones when recording, click on the settings icon (cog icon at the top of screen) and reduce the volume of the metronome (drag the dot on the slider to the left (below the words Metronome Volume) or reduce the volume level on your phone. If you are still having problems, try creating my magic metronome that doesn't like being recorded... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oGdNmE3gogQ.html
ZAYTRI1 In pro studios the metronome is called a click track and singing or playing an instrument to a click track is the preferred method of recording so its a good idea to know how to record the vocals first. It perhaps depends more on the song than the singer but I would expect any celebrity, who is a quality singer (and actually writes their own songs) has at some point used both methods. Singers tend to start with the vocals, musicians tend to start with the music.
Aman Mishra Hi, sounds like you need to make some space for the vocals... Pan the other tracks left or right of the vocal track(s) and add Graphic EQ to all your tracks. Set 800hz and 1.6khz sliders to about -4dB on all tracks except the vocal track(s). Install the Motiv Audio app (on Google play store or apple store), this app has a level meter so you can see the volume of your microphone. Use the volume buttons on the side of your phone to adjust the volume. Try recording your vocals with the Motiv Audio app, if this app can record your vocals then bandlab should record them too.
Yeshaji Rao Hi, connect headphones to your phone and listen to the metronome through the headphones, while you are recording you vocals. You might have to turn the volume down a bit to stop the microphone picking up the metronome sound from the headphones.
