do you have a link to the SATA to USB cable you used? I have a 2007 13" macbook that hasn't been turned on in probably 10 years, I don't think it would even if I had the power cable because I had issues before, but I want to see if there is anything good on the hard drive. would this type of cable work for the hard drive in my macbook?
Most newer Macs don't have any USB-A ports. Having an adapter to house usb-a, hdmi, CompactFlash, etc, is essentially imperative. I have and recommend the Satechi multiport, but there are definitely cheaper and less diversified options. Hope this helps!
