I was really rooting for you. When you decided to tap, your reasoning was so incredibly beautiful. I’ve never heard anyone else talk about what wealth disparities mean in the way you explained. You are what it means to be a truly evolved human, and I thank you for adding so much good onto the planet.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Season 11 is the best season ever! Congratulations Timber and Dub and William and all the other contestants. So much respect for everyone’s bravery and skills and mental strength. Absolutely incredible display of survival abilities. Thank you all and God Bless! 🙏🏼🙌🏼👊🏼💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My husband and I finished the season last night! The final 3 were my favorite contestants in the show, but I was rooting for you the most! I’ve been watching the show since season 1, but you’ll be one I remember. You did a lot of things during the show that I don’t think I’ve ever seen other contestants do and your relationship with our amazing God was beautiful to watch. Very inspiring and happy to find you have a RU-vid channel!
Timber, thanks so much for these post tap updates. So interesting! As others have said, this was the best season of Alone. You final 3 were incredible! It was a pleasure to watch and I am glad I found your channel here. Keep pumping out these videos, they're great!
Tuning into nature is hard to turn off when reacclimating to society. I lived on a small farm for a few years, and even though I talked to a few people, it was overwhelming coming back to the noise, anxiety, and neediness of the crowd.
i thought the best season would be season 7 but season 11 is just fire and it feels like very heartwarming best season ever, im really glad i found your channel timber. question if you have a chance are you gonna do it again? i would be glad if you do it in your own channel haha
Thanks for putting this content out there. These profound long-term effects really make me think about the Mongolia & Frozen seasons when former contestants had an extremely difficult time when facing starvation for a second time. Keep up the good work! Cheers from Alaska
I really wanted you to win!!! But I agree 1000% on why you tapped. Watching you reunite with your wife brought tears! I always wonder if spouses are shocked at the physical state of their loves ones after ALONE. Was your wife surprised by how good (you looked amazing for 80+ days in the Arctic) OR how bad (Alone does make everyone look 20 years older with the loss of facial fat) you looked?
Timber!! Thank you for all these updates to help hold us over, we just can't get enough Alone content! Question 1: WHY was your wife at base camp when you got there?? Question 2: Many of us are familiar with the refeeding program that you all go through however, is there any sort of mental health/therapy that goes on either while at base camp and/or when you get home? I imagine with such a life changing experience it could be seen as a long term form of trauma, especially for contestants that didn't know exactly what they were getting into. Question 3: Would you do it again? Question 4: What's the release date for your book? Question 5: I noticed the yellow brick outside of your shelter over the door, did you have satellite issues with the producers, similar to Woniya that led to you're decision to do that? I'm sure there's more but those are ones I've been wondering lately and haven't seen addressed elsewhere yet! 🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎
Hi TImber I was rooting for you to win the show I actually thought you were definitely going to win 100% And I think you would have but I understand your reason why you didn't take the win you have a great life the people you help in our 3 rd world countries need somebody like you working for the humane society I'm sure that's a very fulfilling job more than winning a show. High five and big respect for you timber.
I wish you all would have gotten a notification every time someone dropped out. Do you think you would have liked that? That must have been so hard not knowing. But I loved when contestants would mention people who they thought were probably still out there. Also, we were rooting for you, but I feel like your wisdom to tap out was straight from God. I’m sure you prayed about it, and you knew it could have went longer than 100 days. Looking forward to your book!
Thank you for these videos sharing your story and always being so motivational. One of my dream is to be accepted for Alone and you have encouraged me to take the next step in the process.
Thank you for sharing some of your recovery processes. We were rooting for all of you for an entire season, and the show just cut us off, left to wonder how you are doing. A few questions to consider for a future video: 1. Would you do it again? 2. Does the show provide nutrition help after you get home? 3. What changes did your family notice post-alone? (So great your wife was at base camp!) 4. Will you visit the site again? Thanks again for sharing!
I loved watching you all season and especially appreciated your beautiful views on life. I noticed on one episode you did a lovely sketch. Did you make a charcoal stick ? I am an artist and have often thought if I was alone in that beautiful wilderness I would have to draw every day.
Congratulations again on an outstanding run on Alone! Looking forward to reading your book when it comes out Timber. Another commentor asked this question and I thought it was so good that I would ask it to you as well: Do you think it would be a good idea if the producers notified the remaining contestants each time a contestant taps out? (Except the 2nd-to-last contestant... so that the winner can still be surprised by his family and the camera crew at his site.) Would that encourage the remaining contestants to stay longer?
Train like a warrior: Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. Work like a fiend: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Chill like a bear: Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Can you tell us how you avoided constipation? I was heart broken when you did not win the prize for your family's permanent house. However you can earn your dream house and so much more via RU-vid, the book and so many opportunities coming your way. Please send love to your wife and kids!
Loved you in "Alone" Timber. You did extremely well toughing this out for 83 days so close to winning. Being a Canadian, I'm happy for William's win. If you have his RU-vid channel, please shar it so I can aslo watch him.
Question. How was it for you re-integrating back into society, around people, noise, returning to "normal" daily activities. How long did it take for you to get back into some sense of your every day life? I ask because, in my life, being immuno-compromised, I stay away from busy public places. I live alone, a quiet simple life, don't see many people. Having had to go to a government office recently, and having to wait for an hour, there were babies crying, children running, people talking loudly, other noises, and when I left, my nerves were really jangled. Also, congratulations on your 83 days. I had you picked for the last person standing. Your reasons for tapping out were inspirational. I also loved your guitar! I am a guitarist myself. That was really cool!
Is there a way to maintain a balanced diet through just hunting and foraging? Seems like many ALONE contestants encountered electrolytes/minerals deficiency while they are out there. Would it be helpful to bring a block of salt as one of your ten items? William mentioned drinking Labradorian tea and rosehip tea out there to help with his digestive system.
I've got questions about unaired stuff. But it could give away some tricks I have up my sleeve and I don't want potential competition to steal my ideas should I make it on. I have plans for 3 alone firsts.
What, if anything, would you do differently if given another chance to do Alone? What was the number one thing you learned about yourself while in the Arctic? Did you look forward to the med checks, just because it gave a little human contact?
I'm wondering if you have a gluten intolerant. My wife is so I rarely eat food with gluten and if I eat pizza it really makes me feel bad - bloated and other stuff.
I hope you're alright: no gall stones. "Chill like a bear", yes, balance in life is essential to well- being! Fostering a spiritual life is as important as sustenance. Working too much doesn't serve anyone, most of all children and spouses. I was wondering if you all were so hyper-vigilant while in the Arctic with the living conditions/animals etc that it's hard to transition to regular society?
If a contestant went full carnivore ahead of time, got used to such a diet, seems like they might have a significant advantage as their bodies would have pre adjusted. I believe its the garbage vegetable (and other) oils along with all the carbs that are in everything that is causing people’s health to be so poor. I went carnivore over a month ago, the adjustment phase was pretty rough, but man I feel better.
I have a question about all Alone contestants. but especially for you Timber. I liked your board game creation (I am a HUGE boardgamer). And music is great too. But, what about BOOKS? Nobody laments the fact that they have nothing to read! I would miss BOOKS so much! Did you or any other contestants wish you had books?
Q&A- did you use any ice fishing techniques that didn't get shown? I ask as i have some ideas for some "Alone" firsts if i ever get selected, just want to make sure they are actually firsts lol
it's fascinating to hear of the insight you unlocked on the show, timber chilling like a bear and eating with a deep intuition for health effects are hard earned and priceless practices which will return dividends please continue sharing ✌🏕
