This is truly the ONLY thing that worked for removing my screen time pass code. I had recently downloaded the newest IOS update and no other tricks work to retrieve/reset it. I had to purchase the premium subscription of iPhone Backup Extractor (about $40), but it was worth it in my opinion. Saved me hours of headache!
I put a screen time passcode on my daughter’s SE, iOS 13. She signed in on her school iPad, and now can’t sign out bc of the restrictions. Two questions: if I buy the service, will I get the passcode? If not, if it is a removal only, will it remove the restrictions on her iPad automatically or will I have to do the procedure on each device? I can’t do it on the school iPad because of restrictions.
It'll remove it rather than recover it on iOS 13. It'll remove the restrictions from the device - and allow you to reinitialise them from the iCloud account, which you could use to remove them from other devices. 🙂
Everything went well so far just wondering of all the settings I changed on my mac and iphone should I change back any of those settings. Also the tutorial is great. Just missed the part where you have to activate your purchase would be great to include as I got stuck there for a while trying to figure out what to do.
I have forgotten my encrpyt back up passcode. I have seen the apple support to recover the backup passcode(to reset all the settings) .When I reset all the setting it requires the screen time passcoad which I have Forgotten. I am stuck from both the sides. Will you be able to help me ?
Hey there! The article we link in the description includes the free ways of doing it: reincubate.com/support/how-to/recover-screen-time-parental-restrictions-passcode/ They’re not as easy to do, however.
So if I used the application I’ll get back my forgotten password and nothing will change in the iPhone? So the past password in the iPhone will be same after the recovery? For example if I forgot my password (4567) after the recovery it will show me the same number (4567). ??
Hey there! On iOS 13 it'll remove Screen Time from your device. On iOS 12, it'll recover your passcode and leave Screen Time as it is. Reach out if you need help! 👍
I need help, I did everything but it didn’t appear the “Recover your screen Time” and that, so I did the mistake to click on "Reset your screen Time" and then My IPhone just re-start or something like that to the Hello screen, but I can’t get started!
Hey Yuucifer: after the iPhone restarts hit "Don't transfer apps & data" option and "Set up later in settings" for the Screen Time set-up step. If the device doesn’t move on from the "Hello screen", turn it off and on again and it'll get past it. Still stuck? Drop us a note: support@reincubate.com 🙂
will this reset my phone when it’s finished? i’ve tried this before with a different company and it completely reset my phone and i didn’t even get the code
Hey Rafal! Yes, it works on both 13.2 and 13.3.1, but it’ll remove rather than recover the passcode. Reach out to us on support@reincubate.com or here if we can help 👍
@@iphone-backup-extractor excellent, but I see in your instructions that I neet to deactivate find my ... Is it possible to remove passcode even though it is locked by screen time ?
I have a question, if I already backed up my phone to iOS 13, if I clear everything back to factory settings and restore my phone from that backup, will the screen time passcode still be on there? This is very urgent... I need help :(
Hey Amy: that'll erase the Screen Time password but only if you don't then reactivate Screen Time when you go through the restore process. If you activate Screen Time, it'll put the code back on. (Our product would avoid this for you. 🙂) Reach out to us any time if you need help: support@reincubate.com.
Yes, there is a cost for the license, but it was worth it to me as I have not been able to use safari for YEARS because of a forgotten passcode. I had to download a separate browser app and always had to copy and paste links into that browser from messages. This worked like a charm and I am back to normal!
Hey Jeff, thanks for commenting! When you're on the site, just click download. It'll give you the PC or Mac version according to the machine you're on. 🙂
Honestly, this was worth the money I was locked out of my screen time for a week and needed to access my apps. Its simple to use and aside from giving you your passcode it also retrieves messages, voicemails, videos you may have deleted. Lesson learned to save your passcode somewhere else. Thanks for this iPhone extractor, this was a life saver
So worth the cost!! I only wish I had found this video before I attempted to restore my iPhone. Which DID NOT work. This software did tho!!! Within 5 minutes I was able to get the code.
Hey Blake! If you're looking to recover your Screen Time passcode on iOS 13, a backup isn't required - we can do it directly on the device. If you're looking to do something else, perhaps you might drop us a note on support@reincubate.com and we'll help. 🙂
That’s what I’m looking to do I have the software unsure if I purchased the package that helps with unlocking screen time but I’m not tech savvy and could use some help. I have sent over a request for help only to find out there is a time difference in U.K. I’m in US
Hey Blake! No problem. We’ll make sure you’re OK. You just missed the end of our day in the UK but we’ll be back at it shortly and will sort things out. 🙂
Don't click "Restore iPhone" - you simply want to remove the passcode, not restore it from a backup. Choose "Don't transfer apps and data" and your phone will be exactly as you left it, minus the Screen Time passcode. 👍 As per the instructions here: reincubate.com/support/how-to/recover-screen-time-parental-restrictions-passcode/
Hi Manuel, it’s one to balance: the pain of a full iPhone reset vs. just over $30. That’s 8 lattes, and you’ll get our hands on support for any iPhone data or recovery issues for a year. Thanks for commenting!
what happened to the basic plan? also you reply to a comment saying, "the pain of a full iPhone reset vs. just over $30. That’s 8 lattes." and you charge 60. shouldn't i go to the person who is charging 30?
If you select the "Use on 1 computer" license you'll see the lowest-priced license is $39.95. We increased this price slightly but also bundled iCloud access in with it - that previously was only in a $69.95 edition. 🙂
I'm afraid not, we spend a lot of time researching and building fixes like these, and we have to be on top of it and testing each time a new iOS update comes out. And we're there to support users!
Hey DM, there are two approaches: reducing the storage used on the iPhone or iPad, and freeing up space on your PC or Mac. We've got some tips for the former here: www.iphonebackupextractor.com/blog/how-to-speed-up-itunes-backup-process/ We've found this handy for the latter on macOS: daisydiskapp.com
Thanks for asking. Check out our site: we're pretty clear about who we are and what we do. 🙂 Reviews here: www.iphonebackupextractor.com/reviews/ About us here: reincubate.com/about/
Hello, Renate. That is the Windows/MacOS administrator password that you used when you first set up your computer. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach us at support@reincubate.com.
Hey Redsteel, Apple don't a solution to this other than erasing your phone and starting again. Our tool will recover it for you, but there's a small price.
At the time of writing it's $34.95 -- balanced against the pain of a full iPhone reset. That’s 8 lattes, and you’ll get our hands on support for any iPhone data or recovery issues for a year.
Kate -- it's $39.95. For that you'll also get our hands on support for any iPhone data or recovery issues for a year. That might be easier than the pain of a full iPhone reset.
Hey John, that's right. You'll need to connect your iPhone or iPad to a PC or Mac to use this. There's no way (other than resetting the device and erasing your data) otherwise.
