Can the Transparent base 5090 also be used to reduce the paint? Having a hard time figuring out the use of this product.

5090 Illustration Colors Transparent Base is used to extend Illustration colors without lessening the resin-load as can happen when over-thinning with 4011 Reducer. As 5090 is a lower viscosity compared to most Createx paints, it can be mixed with paints to lessen viscosity, however it is not a thinner as is 4011 Reducer. Thank you.

The blood red would be amazing to paint a full mini in. But i think even with a red sealer that would take a lot of material.

Createx Illustration Colors and Bloodline work excellent as automotive transparent colors when mixed with 4030 Balancing Clear, createxcolors.com/illustration-airbrush-colors/reducers-cleaners/4030.html. Bloodline Blood Red will actually cover quite well when applied over AutoBorne Sealer Red. 2 quarts Blood Red over a base of Sealer Red is enough for a large vehicale or truck.

What's the shelf life of the 4012 and 4030 mix slurry? Indefinite??

Hello. We do not recommend mixing 4030 & 4012 for storage past a few weeks. Although actual shelf life of the mix is longer, 4012 promotes curing and evaporation, which is not ideal for mixing with a resin, such as 4030, and storing for extended periods. As always, best storage is air-tight and kept in a cool, dark environment such as a paint cabinet.

Could I use the 4030 as a top coat? Kinda like an intercoat clear?

4030 Balancing Clear is an inter-coat clear. It can be used as a top-coat clear for limited exterior applications such as sign and hobby, but not as an automotive top-coat clear. Please refer tot he 4030 tech sheet for more, creatextech.com/pdf/tds/4030-TDS.pdf

There's a few options, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WaDvpCjIDlY.html. De-ionized water can be used for in-between color changes. Thank you.

Is it the same process Lexan rc bodies

Hello. Painting poly-carbonate / Lexan can be done in a variety of ways, however, we recommend adding 4030, then thinning with 4012 when painting poly-carbonate.
