Hello mam , can you please help me to teach my child for writing in four lines correctly.... He recognises the letters and even know how to make them but not understanding the concept of four lines.
How to find correct reason for verbal stimming? My son is 6 yrs. When I am taking to park, due to verbal stim, all kids stare at him. Won't come for friendship . Tease him. I want to divert, but he is climbing slide and along with that doing repeat sounds. I can give quiet time that time for some 100 count but he is engaging with park activity ,I can make his finger on lips and make quiet, nor divert as he has to do park activities, nor background music in park..... What can I do..... Excitement or self regulating is the reason that time...... Pls guide.... When I take him for walk, he do sounds . . . . I divert him to talk words what ever we see on road... He spin around himself on road while walking... I don't know what to do for this He can't communicate well...but good understanding is there. He shakes light weight items... Like shakes threads, plastic bottle caps, supermarket bills...... He can't wait in queue and grabs others bill in supermarket... How to teach wait time and quiet time..... Can I use counting numbers... Any other method?? Pls guide....

madam, my son (12 years old) is having this verbal stimming problem. he makes some sounds very frequently and this video helped me in understanding why he is doing it. he has few more issues. he likes watching music videos (rhymes etc) in youtube, but he pauses and replays parts of those videos frequently. apart from that he also closes his ears even when I am not speaking loudly and he does it very frequently. any idea what could be the reason for these issues? Is this also a typical behaviour issue with autistic children OR could this be something else unique to my son?
@@autismbluerose395 thanks for your reply madam, that's what I guessed. so just occupational therapy will help OR anything else is required? do you have any video regarding sensory issues?

Thank you for this information mam.... My son is 5 years old and autistic ... With so much difficulty I taught him some academic portion and some words to speak and to demand his necessities.... My biggest problem is when ever I start to work with him I could not pay his full attention, could not do eye contact properly.... And even sometimes when I give his some activities to re do he could not focus due to stmming.... Problems are a lot... And I have not the focused therapy schedule for him... What to do and what not. . Even in this period mostly the therapy centres are shut and my son becomes really hyper sometimes... Can u suggest something????.
Follow his intrest while choosing activities..you need to work on his eye contact..play with him' because it's important to get his attention before teaching him..I will keep sharing intresting and easy activities you can do easily at home..and your child will love to do ...
