Along with all the others I am grateful for your video. It was two years ago I found your video and am still refilling when I can. Of course there are times a cartridge has to be discarded for other reasons but you have saved me from a big inconvenience of buying new cartridges just to refill. Very good video explanation indeed. After falling victim to Canon's "Ink absorber nearly full" (i.e., "buy a new printer") message and Epson's EcoTank scam, I am ready to fight back by refilling cartridges, getting both value for money on the ink, and decreased risk of printer head malfunction due to the long tubes running from ink tank to print head. Your video instructions are very clear.

Question: I already did the black color but my printer still saying that doesn't have ink. I unpluged, restarted, place the cartridge back in.. same. Any ideas for it?
I watched another video where the guy explains that you need a “cartridge resetter” just Google Canon chip cartridge resetter and it’s a little blue plastic device. It has a few pins and you need to line it up with the ink cartridge and hold it for 3seconds until a led light on it flashes meaning it is re-set. Hope that info helped.
I watched another video where the guy pushed and held down an button on the top of his printer that had a triangular shaped graphic on it. I didn’t have the same printer, but I figured, there are only a few buttons on the top of my printer. My color light was flashing even though I’d just refilled it and my printer wouldn’t print. I pressed and held down the color button for about 10 seconds. The light did not go out, but when I sent a file to be printed it worked. When I had finished printing I noticed the color ink light was off.
Override command is available for canon printers where the printer just prints regardless of the ink level. To override this just hold stop button and will override the printer ink level
Was hoping he would explain. That's the main part. Printer Ink Levels need to be reset. Got Canon MG series. Press and hold the STOP button for bout 28 seconds. Power off N on. Printer Head may need to be aligned as well. You find that in Canon Maintenance Properties in the program installed(computer). Not available on Android/IOS apps.

How did you find out which color went in each hole. Also, I have a black 240 xl and xxl, and a color 241 xl. Where would you find the amount of ink that they hold. Thx for the video!! Pg 240 xl - 11 ml Pg 240 xxl - 21ml Cl 241 xl - 5ml in each hole That’s what I found. Hope it’s correct. Lol I’ll probably put a little less in each anyway to be safe
Great video! I followed along, but I've run into an issue. The black prints beautifully, the color doesn't print at all. I put 3ml of red, blue&yellow, aligned the heads, cleaned the printer, and deep cleaned the printer. It's like the color is nonexistent. Any advice?
Okay I have an update so the printer the Canon TS 3522 I believe its 275 cartridge it's printing color but it's not printing all black that's crazy is there any way to fix this

Reset the Ink Levels through Canon Printer Program on computer or do it manually by pressing STOP button for 28 secs (Check Printer Manual depending on your model).
when should we refill ink, i mean my canon cartridge is almost empty , its on 80% empty currently , should I refill it now, or should I wait for it completely empty first

When first installing it the printer will ask for permission to update the firmware. If the firmware is updated will this cause the printer to refuse printing after the cartridge is refilled ?
I trusted this video and bought the inks to refill the cartridges, only the test worked, then my printer did not detect the cartridges and it kept giving me the error that the cartridges were empty even though they were full, it is because the ink is not original and All the liquid spilled inside the printer, causing me to lose it. Well they say that cheap is expensive. I regretted having bought those inks. Now I also have to buy another printer. I do not recommend this.
