I would wear gloves and do a tape job when doing this just so you dont accidently fuck up.

Pour acetone in the old can leaving space in the can for air and give it a shake. Then leave it to the side in your toilet. Everytime you go for a dump, give the can a shake. Eventually it'll be running glue again, no waste except for 💩

So, the first time I bought acetone, I did just what you recommended. I walked in, asked the first associate I could find where it was. And he literally had no idea what acetone was and had to ask his buddy who also didn’t know what it was 🤣 I said where’s the paint thinner, I’m sure it’s with that 🤦🏻‍♂️

it means the uppers has shrunken what you do is put some shoe trees in nice and tight and get a heat gun and pur heat on it for couple seconds take it out and put it again until satisfied u can look it up if u think ima troll

Think you can salvage your Barge Infinity Cement by reheating it or do you think the chemistry of the glue would or had been compromised?

+Ryan Mullen I only recommend this brand because it is what I personally use, you can experiment but if you are looking for the strongest hold? Infinity Barge Cement is the way to go

so you wait 5-10 mins for the glue to set before you apply the sole? I noticed Retrosnickers lets the glue sit for 3 hours then heats it back up to reapply the sole. I've only done 3 reglues, I might have put too much glue, going to try to do the 5-10 set and less glue.

Retrosnickers uses barge super stick cement which has a longer dry time. Chase used infinity cement with less of a dry time

if it's to hard to remove you can get a heat gun or blow dryer and apply until old glue softens and gets right out

I believe retro snickers has a vid on that, i did this to my varsity red 6's a few years back. Basically get a pot, fill w water, heat up water till its boiling hot, take pot out off stove while water is still steaming hot, put your shoes in pot (dont put whole shoe in pot, just enough to cover midsoles) and leave for a few mins after wards the glue from the midsoles has been weakened enough to literally just rip em off the shoe 👌👌

I had the same accident of leaving my barge cement open for over a week after thinking it was closed. To remove the dried up glue Just fill up the can of acetone seal it tight and turn it upside down the glue will come straight out.

If done correctly it should last longer than the factory glue. Being done correctly translates directly to making sure your prep is correctly executed.
