How To Regulate a Watch with Android Smartphone Timegraperher apps 

Works quite well. The trick is to adjust the beat error first as you show. Then you adjust the time - look for as vertical line as possible then set the watch time and see what it actually keeps for 24 hours then go back and adjust the regulation lever for whatever the difference was. If you see what I mean 😏

what an app you have found out. i am a watch repairing hobbyist. i had spent years of time to accurately adjust mechanical watch coming to me for repairs. i hope i had smart phone and this app with me. i now rarely receive mechanical watch for repairs. spares availability is also rare. 100% people today use smartphone or electronic watch with 2030 movement. mechanical watches are now history.. i thank you so much for this innovative app and surely use it at first opportunity..

It's a great little app. The newest version even gives you the amplitude. I found that using an external lapel microphone gives me a much cleaner trace. You have a great channel. I just subscribed !

Está muy bueno, pero no te recomiendo que uses el micrófono propio del teléfono inteligente, es preferible usar el micrófono de los auriculares manos libres, para que puedas regularlo bien en las ocho posiciones de la carátula, ejemplo ese regulado que has hecho, se tiene que poder ver así en las diferentes carátulas, carátula de plano arriba; carátula de plano abajo; carátula hora 12 arriba; carátula 6 arriba; carátula 3 arriba y carátula 9 arriba, ésto es así debido a que se trata de un reloj pulsera, y un detalle más, no se puede usar destornillador a la hora de ajustar la marcha de los relojes mecánicos de pulsera, bueno saludos y excelente el vídeo

Can I regulate the beat error and how. My Seiko 5 beat error on this app is 7 to 8 .5ms depends on orientation of the watch..thanks for the reply

Beat error you are adjusting are you pushing or adjusting screw, some chinese mechanisms there will be screw on beat pivot.

What software would I use for a grandfather clock ?? Would this one work ?? Have tried and get spreading results ??

It doesn't work this way you have to take 6 or 8 positions into consideration and priority
