Thanks for helping me out.I an a retired mechanic in my 60's with time on my hands. I have to remove my fender to get at the top door hinge for replacement. Its good that you were so savvy with the camera/ production, as you saved a pensioner a few dollars. This video technologically did not exist in the late 80's, and we had to break everything up in a learning curve Lol. Cheer's H
You're welcome, thank you for watching! Ugh.....yes and no. Yes, because no matter the car the same principles apply. There is always more/less screws or bolts you have to remove. I only say no because it's EXACTLY the same. Hopefully you don't have to deal with that foam piece on the new Corolla. Let us know if you have any questions. Take care.
I don't believe so. The bumpers share a similar style but the headlights, fenders and hood are completely different shapes. It may be possible to do a whole front end conversion but I am not sure. I would check with Corolla forums and try to do comparisons with the new Corolla. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much! I have a 2014 Corolla Sports trim. Do you know if the front bumper of this 2014 trim is compatible with the front bumper of a later model like a 2018 sports trim? I like the look of the grill and fog lights better on the later year and was thinking of upgrading the look on it if I can do it myself
Hi Kamin! Sorry, we haven't done the 2014 to 2018 Corolla conversion so I'm not sure to be honest. There are a few cars that convert fine, and you'll just need to swap out the grill, foglights, and drill a few holes to get it installed. But, some cars are wider and won't fit at all. Sorry we can't be of more help. But, if you do get it to work - please do share with us! It would be helpful to pass this information. Good luck!
