I’ve done an engine swap on this car. If it’s a automatic I highly highly recommend taking the transmission out, attaching it to the engine and then putting it all back in together

Why not just remove the subframe?

I would have just dropped the whole engine and transmission subframe out from the bottom way easier and faster

Wouldn’t it be easier to disconnect the wiring harness from the computer? Pretty sure the computers are on the passenger side under them plastic covers

It’s easier to remove the loom from the fuse box and ecu that it plugs into

I am convinced there had to be meth involved in this removal process cuz only a crack head would recalled how long it took them to complete the job was about 30 secs 😂😂😂 but bot only that did you notice how fast they were moving? I have no doubts there is a glass pipe somewhere in that garage just out of sight!! Another reason i suspect is that the garage itself is way to clean! I bet they spent "30" secs on all fore with toothbrushs cleaning the floor before they started the job itself!! 😂😂😂😂

Much faster to remove the engine by dropping it out from the bottom with all the suspension i did this with a Mercedes SLK and had it out in less than 2 hours

With my luck, all the connectors, plastic bits and exhaust systems are ready to fall apart or rusted to shit. There is no smooth sailing with salt exposed cars.
