How to remove a broken bolt

Never use the spiral extractors. Get the square Style.

@@toolsforwork using the fore of a monkey wrench to turn it, removing broken header stud, I had the exact same issue. So yes it absolutely will break and make the problem much worse in some cases. Also, yes I used heat to get things to losen up, didnt work. Sadly the only thing I didn't have was a welder to weld on a nut. Ended up using a drummel tool to cut it out...

Maybe a way.

Broken stud extractor

Why?

@@toolsforwork it’s not like I did it on purpose. Here’s what I did: 1. Penetrating spray, waiting 40 minutes 2. Heated it 3. Centered the drill hole. I had to redo that one 4. Impact gun 5. Cheat bar It finally gave way, but it took the threading w it. It literally detached from the frame of the car🤷‍♂️
