I have been following you for the past few weeks. You are a truly gifted mechanic. I recently got a used John Deere D110 and used your videos to get it running properly. With your videos, I’m confident I can remove and replace my mower deck. I just realized you are about 45 minutes from my house in Eagleville PA. Will definitely keep on watching. Thank you again !

Those quick disconnects are always a PITA. I have to ratchet them out a little to loosen the tension and then just tighten them back up once it's back in. Good clear instructions though with good angles of view. Another good video you should post but might be too much for the average DIYer is pull the trans, dump old oil out, refill with fresh then reinstall. I've done twice and it gets easier each time. It will increase the longevity of these K58s with fluid changes every 200 hours or so.
Now I see where to fine adjust the back of the deck at the lift points and then the one in front. I think you should try and get one of those 3d printed hands. I have seen them on the world news here in south florida even. That would make your life much easier. Please check into it. thanks for a great video. You should do one on adjusting the deck on this model. thanks.

I had a difficult time pulling my pins out yesterday and putting the deck back on what terrible. I had to get a board to pry the deck up and around to line the holes up to pop the pins back in. I must have done something wrong. I think you had your's all lubricated and done a few times before this video. That was really exhausting. :-)
@@JohnsonsSmallEngines When I went to the lowest setting it would still click one more or so at the blank spot. I also pulled the foot lever back and locked it into position. I may have not pulled the lever back and locked it into position when I went to put it back in though. The deck did not fall when I removed it, but I had to pry and raise it and wiggle it around to line up the hole. Now that was tough... one armed. I had rotator cuff surgery 3.5 weeks ago so my left arm is just about useless for the next few more weeks before therapy. I drove the mower up on ramps and crawled underneath to look for more problems or grease fittings. One of the idler pulley's bearings has lost it's cover cap so I repacked grease into the bearing race with my finger until it would not take anymore. Was trying to figure out how to loosen the tension on the drive belt when the time comes to replace both of those bearings. I bought this x320 2009 about 3 weeks ago. Was not really that well maintained and like many that year the hood was cracked and broken. Thanks.

Marvin, back again. I recently put a new camshaft in my John Deere LA125, with the 21 hp Briggs, problem is, it looks like it burns more fuel now. I had the engine upside down during the overhaul, a few days. Could something be lodged in the float needle? Any advice? Before I start tearing things apart. The engine seems like it doesn’t have the same high rpms when the throttle is raised 2:17
I have not come across more fuel burning after a cam install. Make sure your not running the engine with the choke partially on. The lower RPMS could be as simple as throttle cable adjustment.
Hey Brad, excellent tutorial by the way. I have this same lawntractor and was needing the OEM number of the clogged PTO belt? It's the only belt that's not listed in my owners manual.
Hi Tom, this is what I came up with. Here is the link; partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sidebyside/equipment/73796/referrer/navigation/pgId/625246020. You should call a John Deere dealer and give them your model and serial number to make sure you get the correct belt.
Marvin here, I’ve been looking at your tips. They’ve been helpful. I have a problem, my x320 won’t latch in the upright position with the pedal down. I pulled the deck off to check the bearings, and now I can’t lock it in full up position. Any ideas? Thanks
You may have the mower deck over adjusted too high. I have come across that if I over adjusted the mower deck height adjusters. Try lowering ower all adjustments evenly a little at a time then try to lock it in the up position. Basically you’re lowering all height adjusters.
