If the ball bearing on the injector is corroded do you have to free it up before it will keep the injector in place.

2-3 large nuts to go over the injectors, one nut that fits the injector's top and a few washers, That is all it takes.

I have a Mechanical Cummins 5.9 turbo in my 95 BlueBird bus (Skoolie) it looks exactly like this one it just started knocking real bad.. I had to replace the fuel pump and the fuel line and now it has started knocking and was wondering could this be a bad injector or could it straiten its self out with a good drive. Also it has been sitting and only being cranked up once a month for the past 2 years (working on my conversion still).

Hey mate, I have a 4bt with stuck retaining nuts, they don't seem to want to let go, so I've just sprayed them with lanolin and 2 have released but 2 are stuck tight and I don't want to bust them, have you come across this at all? Cheers, Dan
