Hi Ethran Thank you so much buddy glad the tips help some , I am always trying to think safety and for the videos but its hard to get everything in and remember everything thanks again for the support buddy :)
You have certainly beaten the termites at their own game here by the way you dismantled that wall like that in a super fast time! It was certainly a good idea to do that because now you have a fluffy new duvet in the corner of the room now.
Really useful video. Gives me an idea of the work involved before I start to get quotes for a job to remove a stud wall. Might even do the removal myself after seeing that! Thanks
Hi buddy thanks glad it has inspired some , and yes for sure at least you have an idea just be 100% sure its non load baring before you start , Thanks again for watching and the comment much appreciated :)

Please I need some information. I am trying to do some improvements on my new, old, home. I would like to make a doorway from one room to another. How do I know if a wall is load bearing. I don’t want to take the whole wall down just a nice wide throughway. I am a learn as you go novice and so would appreciate any info you could give me .. if you have time that is.. no worries if you’re busy.
hard to get all the info on to a comment find it easier to make the videos and show/tell but if concerned it is best to get a competent builder/joiner to have a look for you , the only way to know if it is load bearing is to take the boards of and have a look you might also know if you can have a look from above one of the easy telling signs is the wall will run the opposite way from the joist above it as it will be holding them up lie a chris cross if that makes senses , if it is not lad bearing making a door in it shouldn't be to hard unless there is wires and pipes, sockets , radiator on the wall making that harder as you'll need to move them all , stay safe my friend
Hi my Nimble friend :) If there is good length /slack in the cable of the switch it could be re located easy by a sparky pretty easy I would think just be safe when demoing the wall down make sure not to damage it and make sure and turn off the power to be safe :)
Most likely down to money no doubt and possibly was temporary for them no doubt needed an extra room but cost to add and move window's and new rads would be bigger no doubt the best a diyer on a budget could do that worked for them but not sure myself
