13mm for the drive shaft. I got them off with a regular 6 point and a little tappy tap tap and my big haus 1/2 impact but i boogered the bolts up a bit. Definitely use a 12pt wrench. Especially because the bolts got stuck in the socket requiring me to heat them with a torch then drive them out of the socket with a screw driver holding it with vice grips slamming it on the concrete floor. (Btw this trick works 100% of the time if you get a bolt stuck really bad) Always use the right tool for the job if at all possible. I am just a stubborn idiot who likes to work hard not smart.
Great video! Curious how much time it took from start to finish. If you mentioned, apologies, I might have missed it. I have a 98 Cobra and I'm thinking of upgrading the transmission. Not a fan of the T45. I have a lift so it should hopefully go even smoother than how yours seemed to have gone.
It's been 4 years but nobody commented about the shift knob, however i would love the shift knob i have a white sn95 with a black interior on the very off chance you still have it
Thanks for the Video very informative however there are 3 bolts on the starter not 2 and the top bolt is extremely difficult to remove I would say once you remove that bolt you are good to go.
This is a transmission removal video yet you skip the whole part where you actually remove the transmission from the engine. You would think that would be a very important and crucial part of the video about how far to move back drop down etc. Super bummed sucked out 12 minutes and 12 seconds of my life that I'll never get back.
