Here is a very detailed guide on how youcan replace the outer or exterior door handle on your Toyota Camry, I go through every step including how you can remove the interior door panel, how to disconnect all the connecting rods from your lock actuator and all the nuts and bolts you'll need to remove before being able to take this handle out and replace it.

GREAT video! Just changed the broken handle on my 2002 Avalon. Any Avalon owners, there’s one door mount screw under the control panel. Other than that, step by step in the video worked amazingly well! Thanks for making it!

Another trick - connect the lock cylinder actuator lever and retaining tab before reinserting the door handle. Liked the paper towel method at 6:30 Nice, detailed tutorial with clear images - well done!

Thanks for the video. Just finished a 95 Avalon in two hours. Used the paper towel trick after losing one bolt. Also tried putting the lock cylinder on last. Big mistake. almost impossible to line up all three holes at one time. Put the cylinder on first then mount the door handle as suggested. Small hands are an asset!

Very helpful I have three doors that need new handles this makes it seem a lot more simple than I thought i had one of those plastic brackets for the interior latch snap so I had to rig it up to the handle but works OK now I hated having to roll my window down to let myself out

Nice video. Did you have any difficulty re-inserting the door's rod back into the plastic grommet? It was a challenge to remove / unseat and I am having great difficulty re-inserting it.

If you don't have electric windows you'll need to remove the pad on the armrest and remove 2 screws that hold the door panel on.

If it has electric door locks it s a pain in the but to remove and put back. Also my Camry had a tweeter in the door handle with the screw by it to remove... So if you have these 2 things it's not that easy.

those older models used self tapping screws unlike what you show, aaalso one of the screws mount very close to the lock . You are sloppy and do not tell the year of the car.
