Thanks for making this video. It helped me (more than others) with swapping out a bottom seat cushion on my e90 driver's side. Most video's skip over these details which are the most important and most difficult part of doing a seat swap.

I found out the two upper clips are accessible from the bottom. You must tilt the seat on its side then looking up into what would be the top, using a pick tool you must carefully reach in and pull the upper front tab down (it's very difficult to see). Next you look up under again but midway and should see a tab/tongue of a clip, this one is easier as you just need to push up on it with a flat head. Apply some pulling force and undo the lower clips and the back ones then it should slide right off.

@auto repair guys I love all of your great videos, very helpful since I own the same model. I was hoping you could answer a question for me. Is it possible to switch seats from two cars both are heated seats one pair is manual and one is powered. I want to switch the seats but keep the options the same. So take the manual seats but just the seats and have them put in the car with powered seats and have them be powered? Thank you
