Thanks for the video. I follow the same way to remove the rear wiper arm for my Tiguan 2013. It was hardly removed without special tool.

Thanks for this. I have the same problem on my BMW Mini where the metal ring that was part of the wiper arm has rusted to the spray stalk. Going to hacksaw it off as you did 👍

Try Liquid Wrench Penetrating Oil instead of WD-40. Worked like a charm to remove nuts.

It's crazy how hard it is to remove the rear wiper arm. You think the designer would come up with a better way of keeping Corrosion from getting in there.

Need help. Same problem with my wiper, however watching your video, I realized that i may be missing a part too. What is the black ring at the base? Looks like a plastic/rubber washer? Below the seized bolt? Dont understand why I dont have this part. I just have an exposed needle, which makes it easier for your wiper - if broken, to wiggle about. Can’t find this part anywhere - dont even know what its called or if its part of a new wiper motor system or the wiper arm. Can’t find it. Anyone?
