if the bezel is all scratched and damaged does that mean that if there wasnt a bezel to take all the hits then the screen would have broken a long time ago? #bumper
Really helpful video! Had managed to get some dirt under the bezel which was affecting the "click". Struggled to find anything else online on how to solve, but this video was super easy to follow!
Thanks man this was a huge help buddy! I'm getting mine 24k gold plated and already have a replacement 18k gold Rolex style band & a gold & diamond encrusted (well fake diamond) replacement bezel. But didn't know how to take the bezel off. To be honest I assumed that, that is exactly how it comes off. But I had absolutely no clue that a bunch of stuff was gonna go flying everywhere. I'm sure you saved me a lot of hassle.

Thank you Matt for this simple and informative video. I used a security card (Squirrel Point Of Sale card from working in a restaurant). Not as thick as a credit card but about same or less thick as a guitar pick.
I think these are some sort of teflon slidy stickers. I already lost one yesterday and now, on disassemble, one was loose. I'd love to know what these stickers are called so I can replace them in my watch.
@@cateyenebula Didn't find out yet, but I found a solution (don't know if you have the same problem; mine was: the top layer (looks like plastic) was partly down and looks sh!tty), there's a sticker out of metal called "inner bezel for Galaxy Watch 46" on eBay. I think it's from Vietnam and takes some time to get to you
@@RaptorProducts1991 I think you ordered replacement digits, which is cool too. Mine are underneath the ring and should reduce friction while turning. I'm going to check with a repair center if I can get replacements, but, after cleaning, the ring seems to rotate really smooth regardless 😎
@@cateyenebula oh, I simply left them out because they didn't stick anymore LOL doesn't disable the movement of the bezel at all, in my opinion. I had to polish a Galaxy Watch and have taped the inner bezel so that this plastic piece of sh... doesn't get damaged in the process. It did go all well - it seemed - but when I removed the tape, it took some of the upper layer with it and it looks horrible now. Since I want to sell it, I thought it has to look nice so I ordered one and probably will put it on within a couple of days
@@mattsbigdream I cleaned my gear S3 up and it's still very sticky feeling those 4 black strips near the ball bearings are Gooey or sticky feeling. What can I do?
I damaged the bezel ring of my watch 4. I have a galaxy watch and a gear s3 frontier at home, will be one of them compatible with my watch 4 as replacement? 😁
Thank you, I just needed to clean the stickyness and after removing the bezel I cleaned it with a q tip and alcohol and now it's much smoother. I have a galaxy watch 3
Is it possible to disable the bezel so I don't go to the menu when I turn or rotate. I want the bezel even when turning not to go to the menu, I need to stay in front of the poinsters to use the tachymeter
