VideoJoe is needing to remove an electrical outlet box so he can fish a wire up to a wall mount TV so the first thing he needs to do is turn the power off then remove the duplex electrical outlet. Do you have to be an electrician in order to remove a duplex electrical outlet? No. Just make sure you turn the power off at the circuit breaker that feeds the duplex outlet before working on any hot wires. That would be a no no for sure.
