Thanks for the video. I had to replace my mirror today, there is only one video on my style (2017 Cruze), which has a mirror that goes into the door, not the triangle window cover. That video doesn't show how to replace the panel, but he says it's tough. So, today, off came the door panel, mirror replaced no problem. Unfortunately, I tried putting the panel back in without taking all of the top clips off along with the weatherstrip panel as you show in your video. Needless to say I struggled with it for quite a while, then gave up for today. Back at it tomorrow, but I'm going to try your method, so thanks a bunch!!!

Thanks a lot. My handle came loose and I have been opening the driver door from the passenger side or back. This video saved me from destroying all the panels lol.

Hi Raul. Congrats for the great video! Maybe you could help me in a doubt: a guy took off my Chevy Cruze 2017 front door panels to apply glass films. But when he reassembled it, some kind of soft washers was missing. Now I can hear a little noise right on the front doors. I kept both washers (one from each side), but I don't know where it belongs to reassemble. Did you see this kind of soft washers into disassembling process? Thank you for your attention. Regards
when you remove the door panel there isn't any washers. there is only door clips around the door, and metal clips on the top part of the door. did you know if he removed the whole window switch completely?? i usually only take the actual switch off. there might be washers that hold that area where the switch goes in. they are usually very small. the only reason i know this, is because many manufactures have when to that style to hold the arm rest in place. on these cars, some people do not make sure the top metal clips actually go into the door, so its usually loose. hopefully this helps
I don’t Usually takeoff side mirrors. But there’s usually A small cover right by the mirror on the inside that needs to come off, then three bolts, and then unplug the harness and pull the mirror out. Then reinstall the new mirror in reverse. Depending on the year of your Chevy Cruz that could be the case. If not you might have to remove the whole door panel, in order to be able to get to the harness or the bolts. My driver side door is badly indented and I want to purchase a new door (through a junkyard not dealership) but they keep asking me if my door is express up or down or both. I purchased the car salvage, do you happen to know if it matters if I purchase another door that is express or down? I believe my door was just express down, but I am looking to purchase a door that they say is express up and down, does it matter? Thanks
Raul Romo so express up or down means the window automatically goes up or down when you press the button. And express down means the window goes just automatically down when pressing the windows button
Wish I woulda watched this first.. I could not for the life of me get the front panels back on straight at the top. I also couldn't get the backs off because all the instructions I had didn't mention pulling the handle and lock panel off first

Michael Harrison once you take panel off, you lift up the white plastic by the mirror. There should be a few nuts that need to be removed to take off the mirror
Juan Luna you have to grab the signal from the rear speakers to a high to low converter with remote turn on. This will have Rca outputs that you will run to amp with remote wire , thin power and ground wires also, Run power wire 8 gauge or larger from amp to the battery of car, 8 gauge or larger ground wire from amp and to chassis of vehicle Amp output wires to subs
MrVela024 hang the rubber/door channel on the door frame and then the door snaps back on. Don’t forget to hook up cables. I dont know if your messing with me or you just are not capable of going in reverse order 😂😂
You have to remove the clips from the door panel and that they go back on the door frame exactly where they came off of. There is like a dot that they go into. If they are not in the correct spot, they won’t line up on the door panel.
Thank goodness for this video. I was trying to get the panel back on without taking the felt thing and the clips off but couldn’t get it flush against the window. Never would have thought to take them off! Thank you!!
