Thanks! You rock! for those replacing your side view mirror assembly, you do need to loosen the door panel up but don't necessarily need to undo the electrical connections since the door panel will lower without releasing them.
Thanks for the instructions on removing the door card. I wanted to simply replace the tweeters with some super tweeters, and was afraid of breaking the plastic on the tweeter delta-shaped housing while trying to pry it off from the top of the door. Did not know it was attached to the door card. Thanks!
Thanks made the job easier while changing the strap. One item you didn’t mention was that the hinge on the car frame had 2 bolts that required a special wrench to loosen.
Is the bottom connector a standard connector in the Discovery 3 or does it depends on the version? I own a version which doesnt have the courtesy lights in it, there is leather on the spot but if you feel there it seems like there is an cover over it. I want to order some lights from your store but I don't know if it is possible to place them. Can you help?
It's OK now - I managed to bend it back into shape and put it back on. It was easier to put the metal clips first, then push the seal into place, starting with the end at the front of the vehicle.
It is a pain to replace Just the side mirror on the lr3 they need to do a better job on design. I bet the one who design this car never had to replace the mirror.... Lol
My dearest friend Mr Khoo ... although these are indeed new things i need in my life i can assure they are way down the list... in front of these are.. a new wife....a new car... a new house... a new job... a new tractor ( I am middle aged )...a new prime minister ( not a big fan of Boris )... but somewhere down the list there is a desire for new camera and camera person ( does not need to be a man )
