Please help me I just got a 2002 BMW 530i for a good deal. There is only one problem ... The owners before me hit a pothole and damaged some plastic things that has to do with the front end. So they tore off the bumper radiator support beam and a whole lot more. I have all the parts but still am struggling to get it back together. A few of your videos helped me out but not enough to complete the entire front end. Please help me

The two new locks that I purchased (from BMW original (cheap, $20 each side) did not have a screw rill in them, so my original screws didn't work, I had to drive two new screws into the locks' 3 holes, - anybody?

For this job, you do not need to take of the bumper, or the plastic front. It's easier to get access, but not required. btw, do not forget to lubricate.

+Peter Fagerbrant how do you get the lock out without removing the bumper. I'm having problems and don't want to remove the bumper but I can't get the lock out. Cable popped out.

+Lenore Jackson loosen the cooler and it will give you more room.

Thanks. I got a little aggressive and had to take a break but I got it done finally with NO Bumper removal.

Ok, I did not say it was easy ;-) but it is doable without removing the bumper.
