This is wrong. It deletes the shortcut. I want to delete the ICON but leave the shortcut intact. That's what your video title claims but that's not what you showed. You're wasting people's times by mislabeling your own video. If I'm wrong, please enlighten me.

Just right click on home screen and select view- show desktop icons-uncheck it When needed just go and recheck the show desktop icons EASY!!

Guys just right click on the desktop and click on view then uncheck "Show desktop icons"🙂

all you have to do is go to files, click on desktop, and then just move the file/item you want to remove from your desktop screen without deleting is. EX: drag a file from desktop to downloads and it removes it from your desktop screen.

hey! does not work with ISOBurn shortcut it simply deletes it completely like the shortcut AND the software itself

but it goes into my recycle bin? it will delete after 30 days also couldnt open the app

deleting it moves it to your trashcan and if you clean your trash can it will then delete it

right way to do that: 1.Right click on empty space on desktop 2.Then find option,,,View,,,, 3.Then find option,,,Show desktop icons,, 4.Then unselect it and its done 5.when you want them back again select that option and the will show up
