I liked your video. Is this the same radio used on E320 bluetec? Mine is the one with navigation system ad seems to be bigger than the one that you just show on this video. For any chance, do you know if the radio code is engraved in the back of the radio?

Hello, is it possible and easy to lay a 3,5 mm connector cable in the back from the glove box to the cigarette lighter for connecting 12V Bluetooth audio (a2dp) receiver?

You could also use a small flat screw driver and insert it between the two connector and pull them away hard from each other.

You need GPS antenna and navigation drive unit in the trunk, plus fiber optic line for navigation drive.

The navigation drive unit is an option in the vehicle. Check in your trunk to see if there is any drive unit in there. If there is one then it is defective and needs to be repaired or replaced.

If the display is working fine then you do not have a blown fuse. To fix the loading issue, you need to remove the whole unit and take it to you local car stereo repair shop.

The 2nd unit you removed at 1:12 of the video does not work in my car. All the butons work to unlock the car and heated seats buttons and emergency button,, but the silver botton below the emergency stoped working thats for opening the unit cover up. Any ideas of what it can be?

The other plug has a tab which you need to press it down in order to disconnect it.

Hi, I replaced a head unit (CD radio) on my 2003 e240, it works fine but now i get a "NO CDC" message, and although the cdc door opens there's no lights and the cdc wont eject. I didnt disconnect the cables on the back of the cdc when installing the new head unit as i had trouble getting them apart and a piece of plastic that was holding all the cables together under the cdc came off as i was trying to slide the cdc out of the dash. Do you think ive done damage? Any help MUCH appreciated!!

por eso me parece que tiene que ver con algo eléctrico porque normalmente cuando eso ocurre se sigue igual no solamente con el CD player sino con el radio y todo el sistema.

my grandpa has a 2004 E320 and he says that the CD player makes a crackling sound throughout the speakers whenever it's playing, but it only does it with the single disc CD player. Could this possibly mean that the CD lens are dirty and need to be cleaned, or is it something else?

@@robertehlers4330 To get rid of the Teleaid error message you need to take your car to the Mercedes dealer to disable it. Even if you change the module, still you would get the error message.

If the lens is dirty then it would skip or won't play at all. Static is normally generated by the CD player circuit board.

I attempted to remove my cd changer and damaged one of the wires, its not the power or fibre optic wire but the connector containing a rd, black and yellow wire, these have come out of the connector and are loose. Can they fit back in or do I need a new clip? I couldn't work out how to disconnect these and being heavy handed I have caused the wires to come out.

You need to remove the whole unit and disassemble the CD player to get the disc out.

The middle piece below the stereo where u press the silver button and it opens up. It stoped working. I press the button and nothing happens. Can it be like a blown fuse? How can i repair it!

To get the CD out, you need to disassemble the CD Changer Mechanism. But if you damage the unit in the process then you would end up buying a new one instead.

quick question have a 06 E350 when i power up my Comand the mercedes logo flashes then it just turns off i get no audio at all now my cd changer has been broken for a long time it keeps loading but a cd is stuck inside so its constantly loading a cd even if i'm playing the cd player i ended up disconnecting the Power once it didnt want to power up anymore left it unplugged for about 2 days put back in turned right back on CD Player worked fine for 2 days now same problem can anyone help me?

No. If you plan to replace the stereo with an after market unit, you need to change the amp and the wiring.

The automatic door doesn't work, but the cd changer works as nd swifts to cd to cd. I tried to remove but cannot get the part off. Will i need another disc changer? Thanks

The loading assembly of the door is separate than the CD changer. Unless you buy them as whole unit.

The harness is part of the complete front wiring in the car. You might be able to get it from a junk yard.

Have 2007 MB e350 4Matic. Radio comes on when CD changer door opens and that only happens rarely . Don't know how to troubleshoot problem. Any advice? Bypassing cd changer and other components does no good.. Thanks

The car radio is mechanically working. Check the fuse or the power behind the radio with a test light or a volt-meter. If it is good then the radio needs to get repaired.

He turned the key to position two in order to move the shift knob out of the way. He didn't apply the parking brake which you should do in this case.

It's an automatic gearbox. Mercedes-Benz has never manufactured a standard/manual transmission in the duration of the manufacturer's life.
