Thanks for all these VIDS, I still have a A6 C5 2003 model. I just love working on it, doing this kind of stuff. In a few weeks I need do replace / repair the Rear Windshield wiper. I did it before on my previous car, but I can imagine these vids help a lot for someone without the experience.

Thanks again for another excellent video! I really appreciate the coverage you give to all the bits of trim etc because the Bentley and most manual skip over all this hidden stuff as if this should be obvious to anybody.

Hey there - thank you, very much appreciated!!! Yes, we certainly hope we can continue to bring you this kind of content ongoing! 2018 is our big make or break year, as covered in our Thank You Happy New Year video (be sure to check that out!) We're doing a new video EVERY working day Monday-Friday for the whole of 2018 - which is a HUGE undertaking. We hope to get to 15,000 subscribers by the close of 2018 (starting the year at 6,000) - we're on track!!! But most importantly we are relying on the generosity of our viewers to keep Total Technik going. Without people who enjoy the video's supporting us with donations etc then unfortunately Total Technik could NOT exist purely on RU-vid ad revenue alone ($1 per 1,000 views approx), as our content is very specialist in nature and so view numbers are never going to go viral! So it's a big test this year to see if our viewers are prepared to step up to the plate to ensure the ongoing success of the channel and continued new content. We hope we get the support we need, but we are fully aware that everyone wants everything for free these days so on the flipside it could backfire on us - but we're hopeful if people see we are putting in literally HUNDREDS of work hours into the channel this year, and we would hope giving them content that saves them money by allowing them to do various jobs themselves rather than pay £50+ an hour at a garage, that they'll pay just a little back in return. Save £200, donate £5 - we'd be over the moon with that :-) But fingers crossed for 2019, and in the meantime still loads more content to come in 2018! Hey there! We are hoping to be able to expand Total Technik to cover additional models, but it's not a cheap undertaking and our expansion will be solely reliant on the support we receive from our viewers. Hopefully we can cover that model in the not-too-distant future! --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! IMPORTANT!! If you have a rear sunshade. You must remove it first and get the screws behind it before popping the clips. Wolf Auto has a video on removal. Or else you will break lots of plastic. RIP

It seems that I have two more screws preventing me from getting the panel off. The screws are holding in the cloth sun cover. I am unable to access the screws. Any tips?
@frankhorvath817

That sun screen's steel housing is just snapped into its supporting channel in the plastic of the inner trim, and it can be popped out easily by prying either end out and pulling the rest right out towards the front. Then you'll find that it is tethered by a short strong ribbon, about 5" long, at each end. The end of that ribbon has a thick plastic washer like knob which is screwed into the metal of the tailgate. Those two screws are what is holding you up. You'll also realise why they are there and are necessary.

The other possibility is the last two clips which are very high up the panel. they are located about two inches from both ends of the top hump of the panel where it would cover the wiper motor. In the video he refers to these because they are hard to see and to reach. Pull down gently on the panel as far as you can, use a good light, and push a couple foam covered wires out of the way. When you see the clip mounts use an extra long flat head screwdriver and use twisting pry method. Good luck.

Hi, I can't believe all videos that show how to remove the trunk cover is either an Avent or Newer car than mine. I have an A6 C6 sedan that has no tail light doors and one must remove the whole cover, and it has an internal release lever and a dip hand plastic, both are attached to the trunk and I can't find my way to release the cover. It is always something that no one has... Please HELP.

Do you mean the trunk is locked shut? They may be a key hole next to the external handle, otherwise an emgergency release plastic red hande inside behind the emergency triangle flap. --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome!
