EEPROM/E2PROM
If you look at the board there is a little eight legged chip the position might vary depending on what brand or model of car you have.
This is a tutorial for removing the immobilizer which prevent your car from working in case you replace the BSI without programming the E2PROM.
I will show you the place of the eeprom and how it looks like, because in the eeprom is al the information for the immobilizer,
so switch the eeprom chip with the one from your old ecu or reprogram the one you have in both case it need to be taken out otherwise it cant be programmed.
If your vehicle is equipped with an immobilizer system,
and you replace your Body computer BSI like my case you must either reprogram the EEPROM to work with your existing keys, or buy new keys set and ECM
In this video you will see an easy fix by replacing the new Body computer EEPROM by the old one
