I'm not sure why this doctor is saying that once you have a scar you can never have your skin to return to normal? I know from experience that my son had a few scars and a couple in particular were caused by a treatment but caused a deeper tissue damage that created scars. He did microneedling and cold laser therapy for collagen induction along with tretinoin 05% and after a series of microneedling, the scars were completely gone. I can't even find a trace of where they were. So yes skin can be returned to normal as we've experienced it. Never give up hope. This video is great information for trentinoin but the other parts are very flawed

Hyperpigmentation (dark colour) can go back to normal but dents/holes in your skin can you be reduced. I hope nobody feels discouraged because from experience, the reduced noticeability is completely worth it.

I’m trying to get rid of my acne scars, I still have a little bit of acne here and there which I Apply aczone(dapsone) on every night to help with that but don’t know if I should put on the tazarotene or the tretinoin because I have both . I was also wondering if it would do any harm putting both on to speed up the process or which one would help my healing process the most, anything will help ! Thank you for explaining both in this video, I have a dermatologist appointment coming up soon and will sure to ask about any chemical pills or other treatments for my scarring .

Try double cleansing method. First remove with oil based cleanser or balm follow it up with gentle cleanser. Try Clinique cleansing balm followed by cetaphil, avene or cerave cleanser.

Wash your face twice a day with a good cleanser..Preferably with Neem as ingredient. And try double cleansing also. Avoid eating junk food, drink plenty of water, exfoliate at least twice a week. Look for Niacinamide serum, this really helps with acne, use sun screen and do not pick your acne / pimples.. Avoid touching face. Wash hands before washing face..and be patient. And yes, eat fruits and vegetables. Hope this helps.. 😊

Using tretonin increase the turnover rate of skin which means you dead skin is getting removed from above due to it your skin get exposed and the scar apper prominent but long term use gives great results.

Even when I started tretnoin I could see scars deepens, but continue with it...you ll see good results.

It doesn't show any side effects on 1st time. using regularly will show the side effects you must use moisturizer, sunscreen compulsory and important thing is use weekly once for few months
