This is a wrecked Sequoia from the body shop that needs suspension work. I will be going over how to replace the lower control arms and the steering knuckle on the drivers side.
What is the labor charge for replacing both lower control arms/lower ball joints? And how many hours does it take to complete the job? Btw, there was not enough light. It was difficult to see what you were doing. Otherwise it is a good video. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions. I am trying to find ways to get better lighting while I am working. At my shop, we charge 2.5hrs for this style lower ball joints and 3.5hrs for lower control arms. If you are changing ball joints with control arms, it is 3.5hrs for all of it, but if the control arms are seized, we charge 5hrs. After all that, we charge 1.3hrs for an alignment. Our labor rate is $150 per hr. If the parts are not seized, control arms and ball joints will take me like 1.5 to 2hrs. If they are seized, it takes about 3.5 to 4hrs.
