The back seat of my truck was a mess. I searched all over for it and thought I must have taken it out some time and forgot to put it back. As I watched this video while sitting in a parking lot because I got a screw in my tire I learned that it’s back there just tucked away under the seat!! Good video, thank you!

Just wanna say huge thanks! This was exactly what I needed, tire place didn’t put spare back up when I got new tires, I’m headed on a road trip this week with kiddos! Feel so much better now that it is on! It was a little more difficult my “lil wench” didn’t wanna come down to the ground so I had to get out my Jack stand to prop the tire up a little so I could feed it through. Thanks for the video!

My 10 year hound mix was chasing a cat and got her head stuck between the the spare tire and with her teeth clinched on the frame, I have had this my 2018 Silverado a short time and never tried to remove the spare, thanks to your video although I was frantic because she in pain, your video saved the day, thank you thank you thank thank you😂

I don't know why these goof balls think people searching up this video are interested in their breakfast, but the owners manual doesn't explain half of what is shown in this video. Its a good idea to learn how to do this at home when you don't need it, rather than try to figure it all out on the side of the highway

They can get jammed. Try some wd40 and wiggling it as best you can.

Yeah, all the trucks use it pretty much. As long as it works it's nice but make sure to lubricate it regularly so it doesn't freeze up on you when you need

Did GM quit their safety BS like they had on the 2007? Because on the 07.5 they have a safety that wont allow it to drop but a couple inches because the safety feature is rusted up or full of dirt. A complete joke
