this is how you remove the plastic fuel injector lugs if they get stuck in your intake if they are stuck they cannot be reused you will need to buy new ones this will apply to any upgraded spider injection with the MPI upgrade and factory updated spider injection as well 03 and up

the pick came out of my handle and fell down the hole! luckily it stayed vertical and a small magnet inserted in the hole managed to grab it and get it out. Yes ,the lug was stuck that bad. I heated up a 5/16 tap and screwed it in a bit while holding the lug with a pic. I let it cool for 30-45 minutes and then used the chuck to pull it out....worked slick!

Man, you are right on time, I just install MFI injectors and the back left and right pop off from the main setup, leaving me on how to get sucker out!!!! This will help alot, I may go back to the Spider setup also!

I've noticed alot better throttle response since I went back to factory always stay factory if you want a GM to run right

They are both factory. The MFI was an improvement but if you bought a non AC Delco you have a big chance of them going bad

Installed one of these bastards today on a s10 at the shop. Runs like total garbage. And pretty sure the newer design one which was ordered online is junk bc the engine is smoking from the exaust so I'm pretty sure it's dumping fuel/misfiring sort of and isn't a vac leak. Gonna be fun removing these tomorrow. Also if you get the ones online that are not pre bent have fun trying to get it to seat into the plentum correctly. Pulled the plentum 3 times and I've been wrenching for years including dealerships.

Brand new injector was stuck wide open filled 2 cylinders with fuel. Customer ordered online I used a stubby hammer with a pocket screw driver to remove the tappits and also a pair of needle nose pliers to yank them the rest of the way out. Total nightmare.
