does honda require programming SRS unit to the car or just install and clear codes with OBD2 scanner?

If it is a new srs airbag control module then should be just plug in. Sometimes the passenger weight sensor OPDS may need to be reprogrammed. Instead of buying new replacement, you can send original for reset if vehicle was in an accident

2021 Honda Odyssey 3 airbags were deployed. Steering, knee and roof. Seat belt just doing fine. Should i also send the buckle? Please advise. Thank you

Yes, the buckles usually go bad in Honda Odyssey. You can look at it to see if it got pulled down (scrunched, collapsed). If it did, then its bad and needs to be replaced or sent in to be repaired. Checkout myairbags.com

After repairing seatbelt and SRS unit, the light is still on. Code B0004-13 open or increased resistance in driver knee airbag inflator. Any idea how to clear that or should I sent SRS to you to repair? Thank you

@advancetransport4089 did you already get your airbag computer module reset. If not then yes that needs to be done. For more info on airbag module reset check out myairbags.com. If you did get airbag computer module reset then check the knee airbag to make sure it was replaced and the harness connector plug has been properly plugged in and connection is tight.

Does honda odyssey 2019 need belt buckles to be redone? Do the blow too?

Yes on most Odyssey's the buckle goes bad as well. You can measure resistance to see if it is a good or bad seat belt. Good seat belt will show you a resistance between 2 - 3 OHMS. Also if you are not sure then you can send it in, we dont charge you if the seat belt is good.

@@aleksokol6293 On a 2019 Odyssey, it does not show to have buckles as having pyro sensors. But 2018 Odyssey does show to have the buckles that have pyro sensors that need to be rebuilt

Honda has always been painful for some reason. We had a Ridgeline that we replaced the driver seat belt and driver roof. We still have the airbag light even though the SRS has been reset, we went to the dealer for diagnose and he gave us the following error ""Side Curtain Airbag and/or Seat belt Tensioner is deployed" and asking me to replace the SRS module which does not make sense. any idea about this error

Some scanners will give you wrong description for certain DTC codes. For Ridgeline check the buckle as well, the part with the red button that you click the seat belt into. That buckle usually collapses/pulls down. If your Ridgeline has that buckle on driver side and the driver side seat belt was bad and rebuilt/replaced then the buckle also needs to be replaced or rebuilt. @@MyAirbags Thank you for your quick response, I felt that the Honda dealer does not know the diagnosis on this car. He said the following "If you clear the srs and then put it back and one of the seat belts that was installed is not good, then this will cause the SRS to go bad and it needs to be cleared again" is that true? My understanding is that the SRS crash data get written during the trigger of the crash.

I have a 2019 Odyssey that has an intermittent “SRS System problem “ light that comes and goes. Been in 2 shops already and left with the same problem. Any idea what steps I might take next to get this resolved ? Is this a common issue with a 2019 Honda Odyssey?

@@abidzaid3260 I don’t think so. No records of one ever. I used to paint in a body shop and can usually tell. No sign of damage at all and only 45k miles. Car is nearly perfect other than this srs light.

I got my air bag module reset but my light still on? I scanned for code and it saying B0070 Status: MIL/CONFIRMED• Driver Seatbelt Pretensionet "A' Deployment Control : Circuit Open. My seatbelt did not lock.
